dazzledavey36 56,334 Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 We have showed strong interest in GC ruckman Ned Moyle according to Jon Ralph. Adelaide and Collingwood are also other clubs showing interest. 9 2 Quote
ANG13 2,110 Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 I have seen very little GC this year, would he suit us? 1 Quote
DubDee 26,674 Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 We desperately need a back up ruck (non project) 22yo mid season pick 206cm only played 5 games worth a gamble. Had 17 touches and 26 hit outs last week 1 Quote
Jibroni 5,057 Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 He is playing AFL so we know he would be an upgrade on Fullarton. 1 1 1 Quote

KingDingAling 3,758 Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 He’s an upgrade on any back up we have. He’d be a good promising ruck for us. Definitely a good acquisition should we land him. 1 Quote
Redleg 42,156 Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 Won’t come to us, for the very reason we lost Grundy. If Max was say retiring this year ,I think we would have the best chance of the clubs named. 3 Quote

It’s easy to forget after the Grundy debacle that Jackson and Gawn worked so well for all parties. It’s a great opportunity for an up and coming ruckman to learn from the GOAT for a cpl of years in a lesser role. It just wasn’t a great opportunity fr an already established AA ruckman. 8 Quote

The kid is quality but is still only 22 and whilst he dominates VFL and has shown good signs at AFL level I suggest he would know he is not ready for a full season as a number 1 ruck. Learn at the foot of the master before taking the reins in a couple of years 4 1 Quote
Ted Lasso 19,586 Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 Not much better of an apprenticeship than to learn and take over from max gawn 4 Quote
DubDee 26,674 Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 We could do with a Moyle on the team. Someone who is surgical and not afraid to make incisions in sensitive areas. There could be a few tears though! 1 6 1 1 Quote

Davos 932 Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 (edited) He's an absolute unit, and is pretty clearly too good for the VFL based on his GF performance last year. Far better ruck prospect than Fullarton, although he is a pure ruck and will offer nothing as a forward. Can't imagine we'd be the most attractive option given Max stands in his way. Young Angus 873 Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 We need a succession plan, why wouldn't someone come for that very reason, Gawn is getting older and will likely retire in a few years as if you wouldn't want to learn from the best and then look to take the baton when he finishes up. Let's get him or Ethan Reid, get down here!!! 3 Quote
Bring-Back-Powell 15,548 Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 Would be seeking the number 1 gig next year I would've thought. 1 Quote

old55 23,860 Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 Ideal get IMO. Massive unit who can't be moved off the line and follows up strongly with tackles and clearance. I'd pay a lot. 4 Quote
