Big boy forward which probably gives us a complementary skill set from Schache and Fullarton. Seems less mobile than them but willing to camp under the high ball and compete, which we need.

Old fashioned style of forward so I’m excited to see how his skill set translates to AF L level.

Going to be an interesting Casey team with Jefferson, Brown, Fullarton, Schache and Kentfield in the same forward line!

Ah old style forward?? Big Bob Johnson says Hi!!😂🤩

A little disappointed that we overlooked the chance for immediate help for a project tall who hasn’t really done anything to suggest he’d be an in demand pick in the top 45 of the national draft.

But obviously we need more tall forward help and in JT we trust.

Skills look nice and seems to understand using his body, height/athleticism (if destined to play back up ruck as well as forward) and output are probably the question marks.

Had enough of project players.

He played with Koltyn at WA rep, he's put in a good word for him!

Kolt and Filthy Luker can combine for our record breaking 2025,6,7,8,9 flags

Next Tony Lockett

I would be very disappointed were he to go, after starring for us, to Sydney.

But in all seriousness, welcome - but be warned that there are posters lurking here who will call you a spud, loser etc if you don't become a superstar within a couple of years.

Hard no for me and the reasons are he can kick for goal, fritta won't allow that, he can play on straight away and pass a ball at eye level and can mark so that's to many problems for us to get that out of him.....

Oh it's sarcasm folks so settle down.

He looks like he's quite natural at the forward/second ruck role which is exciting! amazing he slipped to the MSD

Worth a shot. He ticks a lot of boxes from the reports. Mid season draft picks don’t normally pan out so I have no issue swinging for the fences with a Forward/Ruck. Good luck Luker.

Speculative pick considering we have a few KPFs clogging the list.

Unless this guy could make an immediate impact I would have preferred building the mid depth.

Yes we do but not many we can actually pick. I suspect shache isn’t playing another game at the dees, BBB can maybe play a couple more but also may also be finished. Pettys injury may re flare… perhaps it already has. Fullerton is there but not yet in frame and jeffo may mot play til 25. So if Petty or JVR go down we have no one really that’s ready despite a list of names.

No surprise we targeted a key forward not a mid.

Coz 99 problems and are mids ain't one.

The midfield that’s needed Nibbler and Kossie to go on ball to provide some run and speed, has had to move Langdon to half forward to have run there and is suddenly relying on Hunter again doesn’t need reinforcements?

I can see the case that no one really stood out, but we’d be silly if we don’t reinforce the midfield and mid/forward depth this offseason.

Surely, the nickname will be “Filthy” (Luker)?

Does he live on the 2nd floor?

I don't mind it at all provided we're looking to build mid field at the trade table at year's end

A big bodied forward who seems quite agile.  Might be a nice point of difference in our mix.

Maybe get a gun ex forward down on contract to show him, Roo and Jeffo some of the finer points of forward craft in this second half of the season.  Might help fast track them a little.  Couldn't hurt surely?

Sadly, had to wrap up a great career in midstream on the back of multiple concussions which culminated in the Maynard hit in the 2023 Qualifying Final.
