Just there is a lot of wrist slashing here as usual. Completely dominated the half, but failed to execute on the scoreboard. That’s the end of the story. Listening to BT and Jones, who doesn’t want to appear biased, barracking for GWS is worse than the goal kicking

Failed to execute on the scoreboard = loss = bad

Kozzy is a ghost on the field. Always watching the players carrying the ball, never going after them. Wants the easy ball.

It's driving me nuts. Used to be hard at it but last month or so been soft

At this stage I am going to have fluffy pups after watching this. We should be at least a minimum of 4 goals in front.

He’s too lazy a player at the moment when it comes to reading and reacting to the play. How many times that half was he in the wrong position?

Get the ball to 20m out with BB bringing it to ground, then have the smalls crumb it, ffs. It isn’t that hard.

How is our forward connection?

Our delivery into our forward 50 has been laser like in its precision, the only problem is it’s nearly always to a Giant standing on his own. It’s doing my head in. Our field kicking has been abysmal, even taking into account the wet conditions. Goal kicking worse.

3 1/2 games and we have kicked 26g 55b

I posted that we have become the worst kicks for goal in the AFL, excepting one bad night by the Swans.

As long as you identify as one you don’t need wheels.

So much of what we do is so good. Really good.

And then we kick forward and lose all vision, all strategy, and basic skills.

Our game plan, rotations, Gawn and Grundy, attack on the ball, tackling etc... all seem to work well, and our back half defence really is a wonderful thing to behold. So I just don't get our dreadful forward skills.

FMD I can’t keep watching this. It’s actually just a joke.

I know how you feel. But for mine it’s Demonland that’s unbearable. I’d forgotten how pathetic some of the “fans” are on here.  I only came on here to share what I hear about Fritta but it’s not possible without seeing some of these posts that are just too much. Further compounded by hearing my peeps doing their best behind the goals, fully supporting our boys regardless of the score.

Anyways medicos just had another meeting. They can’t manage his pain. They’re gonna do a pain block infusion. Apparently it’s a common procedure.

Free kick count 14-1 in our favor. We’ve brought the paper bags this week!

Expect that to get evened up in the second half and cost us the game.

I used to shout out every week that this is the one he'll kick a bag. I've stopped.

Been more than a month. Since he came back from suspension I'd say

Didn't he tear it up last AS game?

Shell of his old self.

Chandler the same too.

Just hope Frittas ok and we stop selling this game.

    BLOODY BLUES by Meggs

The conclusion to Narrm’s home and away season was the inevitable let down by the bloody Blues  who meekly capitulated to the Bombers.   The 2024 season fixture handicapped the Demons chances from the get-go with Port Adelaide, Brisbane and Essendon advantaged with enough gimme games to ensure a tough road to the finals, especially after a slew of early season injuries to star players cost wins and percentage.     As we strode confidently through the gates of Prin

Melbourne’s most important player who dominated the first half of the season until his untimely injury in the Kings Birthday clash put an end to his season. At the time, he was on his way to many personal honours and the club in strong finals contention. When the season did end for Melbourne and Petracca was slowly recovering, he was engulfed in controversy about a possible move of clubs amid claims about his treatment by the club in the immediate aftermath of his injury. LIVE AND LET DIE by Meggs

The Demons’ impressive late season charge to finals will most likely come unstuck this Saturday evening when the Bombers blow up the also-ran Blues in the Ikon Park double-header.   To mangle McCartney, what does it matter to ya? To have any chance to play next week Narrm has got a job to do and needs to do it well.  We’ve got to give the Pie sheilas hell, say live and let die! It’s Indigenous Round for this game and the chance to celebrate and engage with Aboriginal and Torres

Originally an NBL basketballer with the Brisbane Bullets, he moved across town in 2019 to the AFL Lions where he played 19 games before crossing to Melbourne where he was expected to fill a role as a back up ruckman/key forward. Unfortunately, didn’t quite get there although he did finish equal sixth in Casey’s best and fairest award. Date of Birth: 23 February 1999 Height: 198cm Games CDFC: 14 Goals CDFL: 13

Sadly, had to wrap up a great career in midstream on the back of multiple concussions which culminated in the Maynard hit in the 2023 Qualifying Final. His loss to the club was inestimable over and above his on field talent given his character and leadership qualities, all of which have been sorely missed.
