And he’s moving back into his boarding school 😂

Morris should do better research. It’s much more likely his girlfriend is a bigger lure than his sister. Not many 23 year old dudes move to be near their sister.

Wouldn't be banking on anything Super Netball related atm... 😏

Watching JUH in dees colours would be the stuff of my dreams. He’s going to be a bonafide star.

Ralphy making stuff up. When has Goodwin ever said that he is determined to play Petty forward all season. Just trying to fan the flames .

Living in a city where he went to boarding school is a draw?

Because he has such fond memories of being hazed by wealthy country boys?

I heard from a reliable source that Petty still has a valid library card in Adelaide. He's going.

Pretty obvious this was always going to be the case after his 6 goal performance...

I've just found there's a firm called Petty Sampson who specialise in immigration visas to smooth the way for Harrison to immigrate from VIC to SA.

I'm sure it's run by a close relative.

Can someone email Tom Morris to check?

No response will mean he's definitely going.

Sorry, B; only what's on the news: Players, clubless - so with no security -between seasons, a great distance from Netball Australia on a new pay deal.

Pick 6 which will be pick 7 gives maybe Sanders, O'Sullivan, Watson in the frame,

Pick 11 puts Wilson, Murphy , Stevens, Shoemaker in the frame.

I heard Petty's sister is moving to Melbourne to be closer to her brother.

It could be that simple. We take O'Sullivan and Wilson.

On the other hand we might really rate Duursma. 6 + 11 to North for 3. North give 2 + 11 to WC for 1. North get Reid and Sanders. WC get Curtin and one of those above at 11, or maybe Tholstrup, who seems to have tested well at the Combine.

Any idea who would be at 11 that wouldn’t be at 14 that we might want so bad, can only assume we trying to jump ahead of someone keen in the same player

Incredible insight from Tom: Petty hasn’t put a trade request in, although he did once go to school in Adelaide and his sister lives there. Although, he hasn’t put a trade request in, the Crows will still be interested, just in case the Demons do a complete 180 on a player they are basing their forward line around, next year.

Amazing, Tom.

I've heard they both want to move to Nhill.

You clearly live in an echo chamber of happy clapper demon supporters who over rate their list. Pettys best is behind him. Mini rebuild time cause we suck

I presume this is an attempt at sarcasm. If not, it's one of the worst takes I've read on this site in a long time.

Interestingly we have freed up a $mill in CAP space.

Its been mooted by posters that we may make a play for GWS pick 7 and Nick Haynes.

  • NON-MFC: Round 06

The Easter Round kicks off in style with a Thursday night showdown between Brisbane and Collingwood, as both sides look to solidify their spots inside the Top 4 early in the season. Good Friday brings a double-header, with Carlton out to claim consecutive wins when they face the struggling Kangaroos, while later that night the Eagles host the Bombers in Perth, still chasing their first victory of the year. Saturday features another marquee clash as the resurgent Crows look to rebound from back-to-back losses against a formidable GWS outfit. That evening, all eyes will be on Marvel Stadium where Damien Hardwick returns to face his old side—the Tigers—coaching the Suns at a ground he's never hidden his disdain for. Sunday offers two crucial contests where the prize is keeping touch with the Top 8. First, Sydney and Port Adelaide go head-to-head, followed by a fierce battle between the Bulldogs and the Saints. Then, Easter Monday delivers the traditional clash between two bitter rivals, both desperate for a win to stay in touch with the top end of the ladder. Who are you tipping this week and what are the best results for the Demons?

  • REPORT: Essendon

What were they thinking? I mean by “they” the coaching panel and team selectors who chose the team to play against an opponent who, like Melbourne, had made a poor start to the season and who they appeared perfectly capable of beating in what was possibly the last chance to turn the season around. It’s no secret that the Demons’ forward line is totally dysfunctional, having opened the season barely able to average sixty points per game which means there has been no semblance of any system from the team going forward into attack. Nevertheless, on Saturday night at the Adelaide Oval in one of the Gather Round showcase games, Melbourne, with Max Gawn dominating the hit outs against a depleted Essendon ruck resulting from Nick Bryan’s early exit, finished just ahead in clearances won and found itself inside the 50 metre arc 51 times to 43. The end result was a final score that had the Bombers winning 15.6 (96) to 8.9 (57). On balance, one could expect this to result in a two or three goal win, but in this case, it translated into a six and a half goal defeat because they only managed to convert eight times or 11.68% of their entries. The Bombers more than doubled that. On Thursday night at the same ground, the losing team Adelaide managed to score 100 points from almost the same number of times inside 50.
