Sorry all, don’t mind my likes and laugh emojis / reactions to posts on this thread from back in 2022. They were funny! And seemingly still current…(I thought they were!)

Or they are simply  not senior AFL level talents 58er. IMO they fall into the group of too good at vfl level NQR at senior level.

Well OD you still are writing off YOUNG players OFF too early in their career. You expect players never to be given opportunities in other positions or are so impatient for success for some.

Joe many of our current players have you written OFF ?

About 25/20!!

Will never make it

Ate not AFL standard after 5/6 games !!

Doesn’t show  any thing to be a senior player ( after less than 10 games)

Players need encouragement and time and patience and you don’t want to give them that.

Yes we can make predictions but unrealistic chance of a fair go is not the answer.
2/3/4years is often necessary for proper player development.

Far too negative and rushed with your opinions for an AFL Club yo develop it’s list.Msybe we need to trade a bit more fit ready made stars!!

From the club website today, confirmed hand fracture and had surgery today. Expected return TBA

I hear what ya saying 58.

I will offer a caveat on ODs behalf . I know for a fact he has watched many a Magoo Match. I'd be very surprised if he was writing anyone off without considerable thought.

JVR looks like he belongs out there....but he's  still raw.  I too am not convinced Jeffo is going to develop a lot further.  But as you rightly suggest... he's young.

I'm not.... I can remember when Neeta first came on the scene, Ox too.   They showed something special.  Jeffo..  😒 🤔

Obviously time will tell

So many different types of “hand fracture” - if that is all we get to know, could be anything from 2 - 10 weeks. 😩

Round 4 kicks off with a blockbuster on Thursday night as traditional rivals Collingwood and Carlton clash at the MCG, with the Magpies looking to assert themselves as early-season contenders and the Blues seeking their first win of the season. Saturday opens with Gold Coast hosting Adelaide, a key test for the Suns as they aim to back up their big win last week, while the Crows will be looking to keep their perfect record intact. Reigning wooden spooners Richmond have the daunting task of facing reigning premiers Brisbane at the ‘G and the Lions will be eager to reaffirm their premiership credentials after a patchy start. Saturday night sees North Melbourne take on Sydney at Marvel Stadium, with the Swans looking to build on their first win of the season last week against a rebuilding Roos outfit. Sunday’s action begins with GWS hosting West Coast at ENGIE Stadium, a game that could get ugly very early for the visitors. Port Adelaide vs St Kilda at Adelaide Oval looms as a interesting clash, with both clubs form being very hard to read. The round wraps up with Fremantle taking on the Western Bulldogs at Optus Stadium in what could be a fierce contest between two sides with top-eight ambitions.
