Nascent 9,345 Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 (edited) Good results for us so far this round. Now for the weagles to upset the cats. Somehow. Edited June 18, 2022 by Nascent Quote
Clintosaurus 7,953 Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 GWS winning tonight would be excellent too. Quote
Swooper1987 3,322 Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 You'll need 13 to play finals this year, because the last couple of sides are so bad. Port would need 7 from 9 from here. Unlikely but not impossible. It's been a good effort by them after being 0-5. Quote
Mr Steve 3,820 Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 (edited) Footy gods are smiling at the MFC so far this weekend. When is the last time the Cats won after the bye round. Is it as long as it seems. Edited June 18, 2022 by Mr Steve Quote
John Crow Batty 8,892 Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 (edited) We have seen Blues, Swans and Saints lose to clubs outside the 8 this round. As we saw last season many top 8 clubs dropped games to lower sides in second half in particular to those that still have a chance of making finals. Ladder predictor will become less predictable as we enter the latter stage of season. Edited June 18, 2022 by John Crow Batty 3 Quote

Dee Zephyr 19,311 Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 Swans had plenty of time left when they got back to 23, Port was very desperate after that and it was good to watch. Quote

Gawndy the Great 9,011 Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 (edited) Port can’t afford to reload this season and will ultimately fall away towards the tail end. That’s whAt 0-5 does to you. But FMD where was this Swans outfit 2 weeks ago. Even with our poor form we would have beaten them by 6 goals. Just [censored] me how every round a side brings their utmost best against us especially when we needed a break. Suppose the boys wouldn’t want it any other way. Edited June 18, 2022 by CYB 1 Quote
DubDee 26,674 Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 Best West Coast team fielded all year cats without Danger, Parfitt etc WC at home can I smell an upset? 1 Quote
loges 6,767 Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 Blues, Swans and Saints, must all be in crisis. 2 1 Quote

Brownie 6,086 Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 Threw a few bucks on methcoke. Not often I'll barrack for them but geez I hate the cats and at $7 snort it up boys 3 2 Quote
Rab D Nesbitt 8,955 Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 Hilarious that the Water Closet Eagles are level with the Cats at the break. They will surely get run over in the second half but at least it won't be a % booster for Geelong. Quote
Graeme Yeats' Mullet 6,793 Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 Tipped Ess and Port and almost tipped WCE How good if they tip over Geelong!! Quote

Bitter but optimistic 22,289 Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 Odd round ! I've found myself barracking for teams I wouldn't usually [censored] on if on fire. Quote
dl4e 5,851 Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 Geelong should win but can the eagles keep it as close as possible to stop the cats % climb. Quote
Gawndy the Great 9,011 Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 I can’t stand the Cats but boy I really love their f50 connection. They move it as slow as we do but they just find the space for Hawkins all the time. His not terribly quick but he plays the role perfectly. If We could build connection like that, then BBB, Fritt and even Weid will be able to kick bags. The bomb and hope has to be eliminated from our game style. 3 Quote

monoccular 17,760 Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 WCE at least pushing the arrogant Cats ….. maybe those here who complained that we didn’t beat them by 100 points can rethink. Quote
BDA 23,048 Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 I don't think i've ever barracked for the Eagles before. I feel yucky Quote
