Turner has 12 days between now and next game so won’t be out with concussion protocols

Bears will slaughter us the way we played today - stagnant ball movement and atrocious disposal will play right into their hands

Problem is our next game is on Thurs 23 June which is 10 days away.

Turner will miss the next game but May should be back.

May owes us big time. Mitch Brown & Daw not the answer. It's soooo annoying that after last week Mitch got another run. Maybe inject more youth with Laurie in and Neal- Bullen to find form. We can't have so many HFFs not hitting the scoreboard.

Out: Turner, M Brown
In: May, Hunt

Time to mix up the forward line and midfield mix.

We don’t have quality talls so there’s no point playing 2 of them.

We’re slow down back, we’re slow up forward and we lack midfield rotations.

Hunt for some much needed pace across half back (rather than deep), Harmes permanent CHF, Brayshaw in to the midfield/forward rotations.

Those calling for Weidemann to be recalled to the Seniors should look at the VFL stats. He kicked one goal in a team that thrashed Collingwood in the VFL.

Sensible suggestions. And bring in Ablett, Blight and Bartlett.

It’s not about individual players. Most of these players are premiership players. It’s about not following the game plan. The players are kicking sideways, hand passing galore until the forward line is absolutely flooded with opposition players. Mostly. Or kicking the ball always to Gawn in the field. He’s triple teamed by opposition players.

Just had 9 days off. Cant whinge.

Yeah but a 9 day then 10 day break means you can’t really plan a few days away from the club to refresh mentally. Teams with 12-14 days will often take 3 days or so away from the club before getting back into the work for the balance of their bye

You know who we're really missing? I never thought I'd say this, but Joel Smith would have been very handy to have on hand the last few weeks.

They have to take 4 days. Every club. CBA mandated.

The short bye likely explains why our players had a nice dinner during the week. Sensibly getting in some festivities so they don’t overdo it this week.

Brown and Sparrow should be the first ones dropped.

After that, take your pick.

Left field idea. Move Trac to the forward line and Brayshaw inside. If Goodwin is all about reward performance then he has to look at Tracs form in the middle. It is well below par. Brayshaw on the other hand has been in the top 3-4 players for the last month.

I would prefer us to play one less tall forward and get some more pressure, movement and separation.

I like a small forward line but with our ball movement this is a death wish.

If we spread like wild fire from  turnover then it may work but slow transition will make it near impossible to score.

In: empathic win

Out: Rubbish performances

Honestly the game against Brisbane feels like a finals Game already, elimination game.

Lose and it's 4 in a row at the MCG! Can't see ourselves recovering from that considering the trend we are in.

Win and we are back to the top and with a solid foundation to start a really tough home stretch.

I will.still believe in the boys but I really need to see some more fight in them!

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
