Where is Mark Williams.  Out kicking skills have dropped dramatically.  Our forward line is broken.

Everything about that game was predictable. Only this time we gave up a 20 point lead instead of the standard 25-30 point lead.

Anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional.

This has been coming ever since we struggled in large parts against North and West Coast.

We don’t apply pressure and we can’t/don’t want to tackle anymore.

3 games we have blown a 20 point first qrt lead.

Mmmmm

What’s the odds against the bye next week?

Petracca, Smith, Langdon.

Nowhere to be seen.

Exactly especially Smith

Bring in Van Rooyen, May, Bedford and Dunstan. No idea who to drop.

Mitch brown never to play again. Just leave weiderman in.

Apparently our mastermind coach reckons Mitch Brown is playing far better footy than Weid so he clearly stays in.

Petty should not have played

We were plain dumb not to rotate some players through the Eagles/North rounds.

Rivers should have been the medi-sub

Hmm. I'd question that.

Absolutely putrid day after a putrid week.
I’m glad we have a bye. I need a break from this club for a week.

Dire performance. We must be doing some serious loading because we have no legs. Flat as a tack.

Ball movement like trickle. Fumbling and dropping marks. Rubbish forward 50 delivery.
Won’t pick on any players because they’ll all out of form

gus played well. Viney not bad. Petty before he was injured. Clarry stuck at it.

were 10-3 at the bye so plenty of time to put things right. But we better get our mojo back soon or we risk top 4

They kicked 9 out of the last 10 goals or something like that right??

what happened to the team that was 19 points down in a grand final and put on 100 points after that, where have they gone???????????

Wheres the mental fortitude or toughness to stand up when we don't have momentum.

I just can't comprehend how bad we are at the moment.

Thanks Mr May.

Let’s hope there are no more slip ups.

We have lost our mojo but season ain’t over yet. Bye has come at a good time but we need to get our butts back into gear quick smart.

Not sure why we continue to turn off when we get a cushy lead. has happened 3 weeks in a row with no response. Really concerning

That wasn't turning off, that was running out of gas, being worked out tactically, and having no answers.

Still need to win 3 games to play finals.

Geez hard to see where they come from right now it’s hard to see how we stay in the top 4 by years end

We look like a team that likes to eat out a lot at expensive restaurants and get on the p:ss

Gawn, Turner, Petty all shot which gives an alibi.  Jackson shouldn't escape criticism for his poor effort when asked to step up.  Tracc really struggling.  Two weeks to get it right.

They were all fit when the wheels fell off.

we’ve got such a difficult run home.Think we all Gotta get real  about the 2022 dees. we’ve beaten no one , have no fitness edge anymore ( what happened?) , no forward line and deep injuries. I hate to say it, but finals are no certainty. we’re scrambling from here.

Petty couldn't have done much more today. Late effort vs Mihocek wasn't great but worked hard in the absence of May.

Yeah, we're in trouble.

25.10 to 6.16 in second halves over three weeks.

That isn't a May issue. Our season is done. You just don't see good teams perform like that.

I was unwilling to accept some of the doom and gloom around here. But today it seemed like Collingwood was top 4 and we were a team trying to keep up with the top 8.

2022 just ain't our year.

He did some really good things. He was ok.

Alex Neal Bullen & sparrow need to get better

ANB 1 goal 6 for the year. Not good enough when it matters.

Steven May might have made a difference to the shambolic defence, but the connection going forward was again non-existent. A big question mark is also growing about the physical fitness of a team that is developing a habit of building useful leads, only to fade away dramatically under pressure. This never happened when Burgess was there. Given the tough draw ahead, a top-four spot is in real danger now.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
