Sauce?

Can I go for the boring one and say tomato?

I've heard there's no further cases than those reported. Stiff on SOS, who would have been in line for a debut.

Aaron Davey for Kozy, Jeff White for Jackson, Yze for Sparrow. I hope Cam Bruce is ready to switch sides, if Fritta is out.

no room for morton?

Helpful that Langdon plays the whole game on the southern wing side. Will make it easier for Yze to communicate with the bench.

even better, just get langdon to play both wings.....i'm sure he could manage it

Is he out with concussion?

While everyone is acting like Nervous Nellie waiting for the next imaginary Covid19 test result, the Hawks have some injury concerns of their own to worry about.

CJ Jiath, Mitch Lewis and McEvoy all pretty important players for the Dorks.

Neita to pull the boots back on if this keeps up!

I would have thought Sauce Baker would be ahead of him - BOG for Casey against the Toiges

Not worried about our outs as they are not in the same 'line' on the field.  We can cover our 2nd ruck, rotating mid and small forward without upsetting the synergy of the team.

If we get more cases the risk is if they are concentrated in one part of the ground it starts to upset our synergy, ball movement and defensive patterns.

Even then if everyone brings effort and attitude we will get the job done.

Presumably not a fan of the supergroup Cream. Anyone who remembers that band would automatically call Oskar Baker "Ginger" rather than "Sauce".

Casey v Box Hill at this stage...

No way does Majak play. It's going to be bucketing down raining. They'll go for the extra small whether that's Melksham or Chandler.

I watched Melksham very closely last week Dazzle and his intensity was there definately! I would not be at all surprised to see him in the team at all!

Well can we just say....there are known knowns and there are unknown knowns and there are known unknowns.

The real problem are the ‘unknown unknowns.’

They’re the ones that get you.

From another sauce I've heard another 3 with testing positive with more still to occur. Crikey there could be 8 or 9 changes by start time. Don't need to say not great preparation however cometh the hour cometh the man. Hope none of our "Superstars" are affected.

Perfect football weather:  Wind and rain in the morning.  Sunny afternoon.  Light winds in the evening.

MCG surface will be dry as a bone by the time the game starts.

Brings T Mac back into contention but I'm starting to warm a little for Melksham

It would be unlikely Toby Bedford avoids infection with his 2 housemates positive

Not sure about that. I know of 3 cases (friends) where co-habitants have not been infected.

Same. I know spouses who share a bed where one got Covid and the other didn’t.

If Tom doesn't get a guernsey this week he may as well apply for the Giants coaching job.

He probably needs to kick five and hit Weid lace out on the chest( he'll spill them ) to hold his spot

Could I ask people who want to post rumours about supposed Covid19 cases to state the source of the basis of the claims made.

  • PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

With both sides precariously positioned ahead of the run home to the finals, only one team involved in Sunday’s clash at the Adelaide Oval between the Power and the Demons will remain a contender when it’s over.  On current form, that one team has to be Melbourne which narrowly missed out on defeating the competition’s power house Collingwood on King's Birthday and also recently overpowered both 2024 Grand Finalists. Conversely, Port Adelaide snapped out of a four-game losing streak with a win against the Giants in Canberra. Although they will be rejuvenated following that victory, their performances during that run of losses were sub par and resulted in some embarrassing blow out defeats.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

The media focus on the fiery interaction between Max Gawn and Steven May at the end of the game was unfortunate because it took away the gloss from Melbourne’s performance in winning almost everywhere but on the scoreboard in its Kings Birthday clash with Collingwood at the MCG. It was a real battle reminiscent of the good old days when the rivalry between the two clubs was at its height and a fitting contest to celebrate the 2025 Australian of the Year, Neale Daniher and his superb work to bring the campaign to raise funds for motor neurone disease awareness to the forefront. Notwithstanding the fact that the Magpies snatched a one point victory from his old club, Daniher would be proud of the fact that his Demons fought tooth and nail to win the keenly contested game in front of 77,761 fans.

  • PREGAME: Port Adelaide

The Demons are set to embark on a four-week road trip that takes them across the country, with two games in Adelaide and a clash on the Gold Coast, broken up by a mid-season bye. Next up is a meeting with the inconsistent Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval. Who comes in and who goes out?

  • POSTGAME: Collingwood

Despite effectively playing against four extra opponents, the Dees controlled much of the match. However, their inaccuracy in front of goal and inability to convert dominance in clearances and inside 50s ultimately cost them dearly, falling to a heartbreaking one-point loss on King’s Birthday.
