Not wishing to alarm, but would appreciate an update from anyone who has been at training. Has had it most of the year and even last season. Assuming the strapping gives him some relief. Maybe even holds it all together. 😀 1 Quote

Jibroni 5,057 Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 Thats hard luck for Jordan, has had a great season and added depth to the midfield. 2 Quote
Jaded No More 68,976 Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 Terrible news for JJ. Missed out last year and played every game this year only to end up as the sub and now with a 4 week injury. Absolutely sucks. 2 1 Quote

DEE fence 5,054 Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 Another foot injury 😕 so sad for the kid, seems like absolute tattslotto the outlook/prognosis for these injuries when it happens to a Demon. Quote
Billy 2,575 Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 His injury has gone very much under the radar, haven’t heard much about it. Is it season ending? 1 Quote

Older demon 2,815 Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 His foot got stood on playing for Casey the night after he was our Medical-sub. Initially thought to be ok but remained sore and recent scans showed a break. It will be very difficult to get it right in 4 weeks. Horrible timing and the worst luck. 1 1 Quote

Thanks for that, really feel for JJ, thought there was a couple of players ahead of him that could’ve been dropped, he’d had a pretty consistent season. 2 Quote
DeeZone 10,590 Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 Very tough outcome for JJ and he played a ripping game for Casey as well. He is very stiff and robs us of some of our flexibility, thank goodness Hunt and Melk have both stood up at the pointy end of the season. 8 Quote
Wrecker46 3,130 Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 As crazy as it sounds I don't mind players on the fringe of our best 22 getting injured at this time of year. It is obviously devestating for them. We don't need to drop them or exclude them and they will come back the following year more desperate I would hate to be the bloke Jayden Hunt is playing on this week. Hunt has his chance and he won't let it slip. 2 Quote

It also is more cruel when In our position players at least have the VFL To continue playing for a Flag. While Melky and Hunty are playing their hearts out there are always others that are unlucky with or without injuries which we don't need as casual as your matter of fact type scenario. No player deserves injuries for any reason to miss out on once in lifetime events. 1 Quote

I don't wish injury on anyone, even Collingwood. 2 Quote
Bring-Back-Powell 15,548 Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 (edited) On first thoughts, this is a massive blow as he was so important to our structure playing the non Langdon wing and was often used as an option to pass to coming out of half back. Having said that, he can’t be that critical in the eyes of the coaches given he was dropped for round 23. Edited September 1, 2022 by Bring-Back-Powell 1 Quote
