Just wondering what the rules say

Can't imagine it's favourable to us

Yes dees specifically singled out.

Even the weather hates us. How many hamstrings coming up?

What are the odds of them calling it a draw?  😝

None - after half time if the game is called off then the leading team wins.

Just heard though that the delay needs to be > 1 hour.

When are our guys due to fly home for next week's game?  Hope they got TMcD off on an earlier flight so he can start recovery.

If this game had started when it should have it would be over. 8:10 on a Monday night was B/S

Well it didn’t start at 8.10 in Perth

Can anything else possibly go wrong for this great team of ours.Grrrrr..!!!!!

[censored] this. If we don’t get given our four points we riot.

I will go bezerk if this is nothing but a Melb win, they don't deserve 💩

Not liking the idea of sending our guys back out cold, sounds like soft tissue territory.

If this goes for 20 minutes they are saying on 7 that we get awarded the match.

Happy Hammond just said if the game does not compete. We win   4 points.

They said 60 minutes but the rule book says 30 minutes.

I hope that the fitness crowd have something up their sleeve (or trouser leg) to keep them warmed up.

We win because we were in front at half time. So if Kossie had missed we would have lost and were 32 point in front.

Not a great situation. Eagles aren’t coming back to win this. Only thing that can happen from here is injuries.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
