Super proud of Viney's efforts last night, and stoked for him on booking a GF berth. His family and particularly father Todd must be over the moon!

Brilliant first half and possibly the best half he has ever played.

Kept it up in the second half with less possessions but the same intensity. In our best 3 players.

Well done Jack, enjoy and do it again in the GF.

Absolutely. But when the Game was still hot, his relentless pressure broke them.
That is what September Footy is…

Norm would be proud of that

Yes and he probably held the vigour back a couple of notches, because of not wanting any MRO issues. Get the feeling that won’t be the case in the GF.

Yes he almost went a player in the 2nd half and got pulled away…

When my nerves have flared over the past few weeks I've pictured Jack Viney standing in front of the Cup. Anyone else who wants it has to get past him - he won't let it happen.

Gee wiz you wouldn't wanna be a port or Doggies player in the GF, Jack is going to be cracking in like a madman

Brilliant display of aggressive roving, rather than the bullocking mid. Like to see his take Mullet head Smith apart in GF.

When you are right, you're right. And when you are wrong you're @demon3165... Rugby players don't play like that.

Ah the was waiting for you, yes he played very well give him that, but did not see a different game style from him.

1. Instead of see ball get ball he actually spread when he did not have the ball.

2. The first instinct of trying to break tackles he gave off handballs nearly performed Olivers role of the past and it has allowed Oliver and co to be able to be more outside runners.

3. His depth of kicking is still a problem but can go past that if he keeps playing that way.

Jack Viney had a really impressive game.

What was most pleasing was his kicking!

I feel that the positive influence of Mark "Choco" Williams has definitely assisted with Jack Viney's kicking.

Either way, I am sure his Father and Demon great Todd Viney would be incredibly proud of his son!

Once again, Jack earned 5 free kicks. Next best was 2. It’s his post- suspension trend. Didn’t get caught once, lots of score assists. Agree with @Ron Burgundy, thread is past its ‘used by’, or should never have been.

That two week enforced holiday certainly freshened him up. I always felt he was always returning prematurely after injuries and only making things worse.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.
