good question Chook. They love to give us reason not too.

We are fitter than ever and playing as a team. We had 2 1/2 down quarters but years gone by we wouldn't of gotten the job done

I honestly think we can win 14-16 this year. Its hard to say but YES I trust them

Hard question to answer. More so now than earlier today. Come back to you this time next week.

Can't answer that question until BBB, Weid, Fristch & May return and we get a proper look at a full strength squad.

We’ve been challenged a few times now and come up with the answers so yeah I’ve trust in them now. We will bring the heat and pressure next week and give Richmond a proper challenge. Might not be enough to win but there will be no poor efforts I’m sure.

No that trust got broke a long time ago.

Only one way to repair it.

Nope.

Enjoying the wins but fully expecting a run of losses at some point.

Absolutely at this minute I do.

Was not worried at 3qtr time. Was waiting for us to really put our foot down which we did.

Needs unsure option. First 3 qtrs today gave me PTSD

If you're unsure, then you don't trust them. That's OK. I get it.

Was very strange watching this from the couch in NQ. Despite it being close with the Hawks having their nose on front for the first half. I was calm, reasoned and in absolutely no doubt that the result wouldn't go our way.

Our thing now is that we are just fitter, and go harder for longer than the opposition hasbeen able to this year.

Big test coming with the Tigers and feel it be an absolute cracker of a game and win lose or draw we will know ?% if we are thereabouts. I believe we are right now

At this stage - no.

We had a terrible period against the Saints. We started dreadfully against the Giants before they ran out of players, and we started awfully today and a big reason why the Hawks folded was because they're a young side coming back from Perth.

We've had the absolute dream draw.

We're playing better and playing in much the right style but too much of the ball movement lacks polish and we still need more system going inside 50.

That's not to say I don't trust that players to give strong efforts more weeks than not (no team is ever perfect) and it's not to say we aren't making good progress but at this stage I think we just lack the polish to really be reliable. And I'm a bit doubtful on whether we can play top line pressure footy against the best sides when we're probably a couple of mid/forward rotation players short who can both pressure and provide quality with the ball.

We'll see what happens with the big forwards if they straighten us up in a good way (and don't just encourage long bombs). Overall though I think Petracca and Oliver in particular need to become capable of the Pendlebury or Dusty type moments just cutting through congestion with beautiful skills not just power.

No, the pain is too much, but then so is the love, Personally I am stressed about the season North had winning 11, then falling off a cliff, I can see the Dees doing that... I remember some years when we fell into finals after flying during the season. They make a strong brew of bathwater down at the 'G.

Next week will tell us a lot, but we are looking good so far, and I'm enjoying it as much as i can?

Its hard to trust with the easy set shot misses. I trust us to get enough opportunity, but until we can reliably hit high percentage set shots it will be hard to trust fully. It sometimes feels like you just need one good chunk of play to kick the those yips to the dust for a while. Hoping the last quarter was that!

5 wins in a row don’t undo 5 decades of failure. You can’t cure MFCSS with anything other than a premiership

  • REPORT: Carlton

The text messages started flooding in shortly after quarter time. One read: “Is Melbourne even at the ground?” Moments later, as Carlton’s Elijah Hollands kicked the first goal of the second term, the Blues held a commanding 43-point lead. By then, the Demons’ only score was a behind kicked by Brody Mihocek nearly five minutes into the game. Ironically, Mihocek would also register the last minor score of the day after the game took a dramatic turnaround.
