Flower Magic 776 Posted March 20, 2021 Posted March 20, 2021 Watching this guy in the last quarter, I honestly believe that he is our next bona fide superstar. Quiet for three quarters, then someone or something flicked the switch. His marking became clean and precise, and his delivery by hand was perfect. He will improve his set shot kicking I'm sure, and will boot a few bags in the future. 20 Quote
The Stigga 1,097 Posted March 20, 2021 Posted March 20, 2021 Yep, just got to fix the kicking, but Jackson and Kossie up forward, entertaining times to come 7 Quote
praha 11,267 Posted March 20, 2021 Posted March 20, 2021 He was okay. Bordering on good. Hard for any one player to have much influence today. There were a few games last year that showcased what he is capable of more than today. 1 Quote
Swooper1987 3,322 Posted March 20, 2021 Posted March 20, 2021 Very reminiscent of a young David Schwarz the way that he moves. His marking has improved - his kicking will too. 4 Quote

Possibly on the back of that big chase and contest for the loose ball on our 50 that ended with him giving away a highly dubious high contact free? That was awesome to see him just put on the afterburners and charge through. Now we just need someone to chat with him about his set shot routine... 7 Quote
Little Goffy 14,975 Posted March 20, 2021 Posted March 20, 2021 A very young ruckman able to develop while playing a role adequately at the top level is nothing to be scoffed at. Would be entirely happy if over the course of this season he just became enough of a potential headache that opponents have to take him seriously and make our mix of talls even harder to plan for. 6 Quote
Demonland 74,465 Posted March 20, 2021 Posted March 20, 2021 More of the last quarter including fixing his set shot kicking. needs to back himself and trust his instincts. 5 Quote
spirit of norm smith 16,680 Posted March 20, 2021 Posted March 20, 2021 Really is teasing us. He has potential superstar qualities. Still raw. His kicking needs to be developed to fulfill. Fantastic athletic ability. 1 Quote
leave it to deever 17,621 Posted March 20, 2021 Posted March 20, 2021 What if Tmac keeps playing like he did today and Jackson keeps improving? A nice problem to have but I wonder how Weid and Brown fit into the equation. 4 1 2 Quote

In Harmes Way 7,871 Posted March 20, 2021 Posted March 20, 2021 That pack mark was an absolute ripper Hopefully a few more of those and all the naysayers who reckon he was too expensive at pick 3 will shut up 4 1 Quote
deebug 1,754 Posted March 20, 2021 Posted March 20, 2021 Was talking about this with my mates after the game, he is a strong mark, just needs to work on his goal kicking. Wasn't Johno Brown going to help Weed this year, maybe we could also get him to help LJ with some goal kicking? 1 Quote

DeeSpencer 26,692 Posted March 20, 2021 Posted March 20, 2021 (edited) Wait and see on the marking. It hasn’t been great so far. I loved some of his tackling and the way he was full of running in the last. Plus the way he can land from marking and keep moving is off the charts. We need to kick it where he can run and jump across a pack more than sit it high like we do for Gawn. Edited March 20, 2021 by DeeSpencer 2 Quote
Sir Why You Little 37,474 Posted March 20, 2021 Posted March 20, 2021 He will explode soon as long as he doesn’t get hurt huge talent that Choco will love to work with 5 Quote
Jaded No More 68,976 Posted March 20, 2021 Posted March 20, 2021 Yze can teach him how to nail a goal at the G hopefully. His marking in the last quarter was very promising. Will benefit from Brown being in the side. 2 Quote

He took some really nice contested marks today as the outlet from defence. 8 Quote
Cheesy D. Pun 1,765 Posted March 20, 2021 Posted March 20, 2021 Already a very handy player with just about as much upside as any player in the competition. 1 Quote
dl4e 5,851 Posted March 20, 2021 Posted March 20, 2021 Very promising from Jackson. His kicking was as bad as the rest of the team. 1 Quote
Pipefitter 2,235 Posted March 20, 2021 Posted March 20, 2021 What this kid is pulling off at such a young age is completely flying under the radar. He’s going to be a top level talent for sure. After some lean years at the draft, we def nailed that one with Jackson, Pickett and Rivers. 5 Quote
BDA 23,048 Posted March 20, 2021 Posted March 20, 2021 Looked hesitant and unsure for most of the game. I’m a big fan but he’s far from the finished article. Plenty of improvement left yet. 3 Quote
DeeZone 10,596 Posted March 20, 2021 Posted March 20, 2021 Pretty good for his 7th game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 4 Quote

But it offered a glimpse of his game changer potential, even if it'll ultimately go down as a clanger. 1 1 Quote
