That is what I said, 38 on main list, that is 2 less than this year.

Before delistings and trades can be discussed, not only do we need to know what the list sizes will be in 2021 and beyond, but also whether the AFL will change the rules on how many picks clubs must use in this year's draft. Has the AFL made any announcements about that? If, for example, there is no obligation to pick anyone this year (which I do not expect to be the case) we may choose to ignore the draft and prefer what we already have.

Yeah sometimes we hear the number and think it seems huge, but would definitely not be surprised to see as many as 10 changes.

Passed Hore FD?  You do realise he didn't play as he was injured all year yes?  Also, in most cases, a player needs a full pre-season in order to get to his best and compete at this level?

His game is also built slightly different to Rivers in that he's a big intercept marking player.  No.2 last year on averages only behind Lever. 

I'm not sure how you can pass judgement on him given he was out all season.

His biggest downside is disposal accuracy by foot.  He would certainly need to clean that up to survive at this level.  Let's see how he goes with a full pre-season under his belt.

Aside from his disposal, which IS certainly an issue, all his other attributes point to a very solid 3rd tallish defender in the making, subject to injury issues.

Daniel Cross, Harley Bennell, Jimmy Toumpas, Max Gawn, Jayden Hunt, Luke Jackson, Clayton Oliver, Aidan Riley, Dean Kent, Max King, Bernie Vince, Christian Petracca, Alex Neal-Bullen, Rohan Bail, Neville Jetta, Jake Spencer, Nathan Jones. 

Looks like we have more work cut out for us at the trade table

Perryman i suggested in another thread would be worth a look at.  McKay would be a better longer term option as a forward, Casboult if we just wanted few years of support for Weid.  

Carlton will absolutely not trade McKay unless he demands it. And he isn't

I think you will find most would have around 48, GC has 54 I believe.

Not sure on contract status but I would enquire about Langdons brother at Collingwood. Out injured for all of 2020, played mostly deep back but I think has the ability and dash to play up the ground like his brother.

Have read it a couple of times that some would like to get rid of Hore.

He's definitely got a better chance of getting a date with you than being an AFL coach next year.

he has been crippled by injury and recovery is doubtful.

Almost agree   Omac  might be delisted however he kindly opens the door to Joel Smith, after you Joel. Contract or not.

Looking at @Lucifer's Hero out-of-contract list from a role point of view (in playing # order) gives some insight:

Tall Back: OMac
Medium Back: Hibberd, Hore, J.Wagner, Smith,
Small Back: Nietschke, Lockhart

R: Bradtke
Mids: Jones, Viney, Jordon, Sparrow, Dunkley

Tall Fwd: Petty, Brown
Medium Fwd: Hannan, Hunt, Fritsch
Small Fwd: Spargo, Bedford, Bennell, Chandler, C.Wagner

It depends how much depth we believe we have elsewhere in those roles and who we might be bringing in, but Medium Backs, Mids, Medium Fwds and Small Fwds look overstocked.
