Brisbane didn't win this. We lost it.

What the actual [censored] was Fritsch doing.

And that's why Oscar gets criticised

Fritsch has to know he is leading to his wrong pocket. That's not Hannan's fault.  That's just very poor leading from a forward with a game on the line.  He has a habit of it and more than coaching someone how to kick, you can teach people where to run.

Threw it away. Why kick the ball so wide to Fritsch.

yep that too....what a stupid place to lead to.  Always one step away from being a decent team.  We just dont get it at so many levels and always leave too much to too few against the rated clubs

We are a dumb team who could be anything if we didn’t make such bad decisions at times. Fritsch [censored] me.

Weideman needs some kicking practice

That’s where we finally lost it

That mark revirw was a game killer.

Hang on a second i have an important job here.

Two games we’ve had chances to snatch the win at the end and both times poor kicks/decision making have cost us. We are our own worst enemies and this loss and the Cats loss is going to cost us.

Was stupid but they did the same thing multiple times and got away with it

That recall of Lever’s mark cost us that game. I am absolutely [censored] fuming!

More the stuffing around further up the wing.  But that kicked needed to be about 20m out from goal to create pressure and contest on the scoring zone.

Was it Fritsch who gave away a stupid 50 like that a couple of weeks ago? I know someone did

Just lacked a touch of polish. They are a damn good side. We were just a touch off in the second and didn’t take our chances. That’s what you need to do against the better ones. Learn from it an reset for Port. Good to see Gawn, Viney and Trac try and lift them on their backs.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
