The Racecourse Reserve might be in the State electorate of Caulfield held by the Liberal Party but it is also in the Federal electorate of Macnamara held by the ALP. Sitting member is Josh Burns, who does have interest in footy (but I think he is a Carlton supporter). Lobbying never goes astray 😉

Agreed. I’ve done some work out at the Kennedy Centre (Hawks new facility) ovals completed and operational long before the building will be.

As for MFCSS, it's actually just a lack of trust now sullied over multiple years by the administration, nothing to do with the football side of things. At least not for me.

They aren’t proposing to build Dubai.:: it’s a few football ovals, a pavilion and a 4 storey HQ..: a members fundraising and some contribution from council and state governments will be enough. I’m in construction and the total cost for this isn’t going to be exorbitant

I find the negativity about this bizarre. We finally have some concrete plans, and things appear to be moving in the right direction. I am not a fan of Caulfield, but if that is the position the clubs takes then I will embrace it. Just give us a home already. 
Notably the Lawrence fans are still not happy. Can’t campaign on that one anymore hey?

Frankly we should have been raising money for the training ground for years.

Of the $113M being spent by the Hawks various governments are putting up $30M ($15M from each of State and Federal)

Yes, ours will be quite high as a total, it's expected to be around $100-120 million, of which we have committed $20-25 million.
