Can we take his mark over Maxie off him. He seemed quite high then ????

I think it was his brother Fly’n Ryan who took that mark.

Someone's definitely taking the [censored] here.

See all the essenscum fans up in arms saying we never tested positive, west coast should be kicked out of finals. Even Sam Newman is having a crack. They still don't get it do they? They were suspended because they bought the game into disrepute. They were injected with substances which no one could tell what it was, they were taken off site to get injected and failed in there duty of care.

But how dumb is Rioli? What did he substitute his urine with and also he should have known these ASADA people are not stupid. They would have seen every trick before and would have been able to tell straight away. A very silly move indeed.

When I heard the news headline about a Rioli and a drug test shock, I immediately thought of the West Coast one. Now, why is that??

But when you do a sample isn't the ASADA or WADA person meant to be standing there watching you so incidents like this don't occur?

So if the alleged tampered test was done after rd 22, why was he allowed to play rd 23 and the elimination final?

according to one report they were there and caught him red-handed, then forced him to do another sample

but that was 3 weeks ago, so why the delay?

Because according to the lunatic Eagles supporters over here in Perth  they were waiting till the eve of the Geelong game to dent their chances

You think you’d be better off risking a positive test, if it comes back positive then try for a defence. It’s a little harder defending tampering with a sample, must have shat his dacks. No winners here.

Except integrity

He can't be very bright if he thought a cup of Gatorade would fool the testers. Did he think they'd just think he had a high electrolyte count in his [censored]?

It's the cynic in me - and I cannot help but think that there would be 'club/lockeroom talk' at all clubs on how to evade tests. Look at G.Allen and C Lambert with Whitfield as one example, and yes, it is just one example, but Cousins spoke about his capacity to evade testing and how certain players feel 'targeted' while others have gone years without being tested. 'Lads, we don't care what you do in your own time, its your call, just dont get caught'.

This should be easy to comprehend but feel free to aid me to fully understand.

Randomly selected for a test, ASADA person watching him do number 1 whilst half naked and sees him swapping the sample but takes it to the lab for testing anyway or there you go Willy, pee in here and I’ll go make us some cuppas.

How could this happen?

Athletes who fiddle with drugs these days must be [censored] knuckleheads!

Unless you are Chinese or Russian of course

Have a read of John Ralphs piece in the herald sun just priceless.

The whole tone is wrong, its like Ohh well he is just stupid!

The AFL are in damage control through the usual mouthpieces

He should be banned straight out no excuses stupidity, mental health,my brother told me to do it NO EXCUSES

Just watch the AFL squirm and spin their way out of this. They are not serious about drugs.

Read Ben Cousins book he knew how to evade a [censored] weak system sometimes with some assistance.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Collingwood

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.

  • AFLW REPORT: St. Kilda

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking.  We filled our boots with percentage — now a whopping 520.7% — and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourne’s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasn’t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's  six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his team’s unfulfilled potential rang true … well, almost.
