You’re right....just spoke with the club regarding other matters with my membership, asked about pictures and was told only six we’re on offer. Honestly how much of a savings would it actually be.....

The cards would already be printed up mate, the only thing the club would print on them would be your details once they pick a card from one of 6 piles.
Logistically, sorting through 40 different cards would be a pain in the neck, and there'd probably be an excess of Oscar McDonald and Braydon Pruess cards at season's end.

Spargo Interchange at CASEY?? Hnmm

I was more amused seeing Bennell, who this week ran for the first time in many months, named on the HFF.

Spoke to a Port Adelaide supporting mate of mine today who is legitimately connected in some AFL circles.

He told me that he spoke to the head coach at PAC a month or so ago about Pickett and the feedback was that has an insane ability to hit hard, he’s ferocious, and apparently he endorsed him as a really good prospect. Confirmed that he has good skills and a very athletic build. In short, the feedback seems to be really promising.

Only knock in my mate’s view was whether pick 12 was overs for a low possession accumulator as against a Kemp or Weightman. But everyone knows this.

Thought it was interesting feedback nonetheless.

Stay classy.

Happy that the Club has gone for X-factor types. Something we haven’t had for years. Premierships aren’t won by playing safe. Mind you, if it all goes pear shaped I’ll moan uncontrollably.

He has a similar running style to the great Jimmy Krakouer. If he turns out half as good as Jimmy pick 12 will have been well spent.

That's what i saw in him when running along the wing at one point in the replays Swooper.  That would be a nice outcome if he does.

When do he and LJ start training with us?

Monday I hope.

A couple of important points.

1.Have we got the preferred spelling of Kozzie/Kozzy/Kossie/Kosi/Kossy? Need to sort that out.

2. Given his full name and his ability to make defenders soil their pants I'd like to suggest the nickname of the Krop Duster.

This is valid, admin feel like it needs it's own thread/poll???

Are you an authentic orstralian? That question is in no way meant to be racist or in any other way meant offensively.

For clarification the image posted looks like Air Tractor. Crop dusting has a different connotation when mentioned in passing.

I can safely say that in a team completely devoid of willingness to work off the ball for each other, his liking for bumps and shepherds will be a standout trait.

Start of a journey and the excitement is nobody knows where what it will all end.

Big photo with family on the G.

Dreams are made and here's another one about to become real.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.

  • CASEY: Sandringham

The Casey Demons rebounded from a sluggish start to manufacture a decisive win against Sandringham in the final showdown, culminating a quarter century of intense rivalry between the fluctuating alignments of teams affiliated with AFL clubs Melbourne and St Kilda, as the Saints and the Zebras prepare to forge independent paths in 2026. After conceding three of the first four goals of the match, the Demons went on a goal kicking rampage instigated by the winning ruck combination of Tom Campbell with 26 hitouts, 26 disposals and 13 clearances and his apprentice Will Verrall who contributed 20 hitouts. This gave first use of the ball to the likes of Jack Billings, Bayley Laurie, Riley Bonner and Koltyn Tholstrup who was impressive early. By the first break they had added seven goals and took a strong grip on the game. The Demons were well served up forward early by Mitch Hardie and, as the game progressed, Harry Sharp proved a menace with a five goal performance. Emerging young forwards Matthew Jefferson and Luker Kentfield kicked two each but the former let himself down with some poor kicking for goal.
Young draft talent Will Duursma showed the depth of his talent and looks well out of reach for Melbourne this year. Kalani White was used sparingly and had a brief but uneventful stint in the ruck.

  • PREGAME: West Coast

The Demons return to the scene of the crime on Saturday to face the wooden spooners the Eagles at the Docklands. Who comes in and who goes out? Like moving deck chairs on the Titanic.

It's Game Day and there are only 5 games to go. Can the Demons find some consistency and form as they stagger towards the finish line of another uninspiring season?
