My kneejerk reaction is that Brayshaw is tradeable and ANB certainly is. FFS play Bedford and see what he can do and Petty had a break out game.

Hannan woeful. Unsighted all day

ANB. Can't accept him in the team any longer.

Neville. Very poor, well off the pace.

Hibberd missing for 2 1/2 qtrs

Brayshaw. Did nothing all day.

Lever. Underdone.

Jones. I am done with you. The poorest captains game you are likely to see. Could barely keep his feet.

May did well. Excitedto see Petty fwd.

Fritsch is a shell of the footballer from 2 yrs ago.

Lewis, just kick the ball instead of handballing to a stationary target.

Our positioning at the contest is truly pathetic. We continually allow the oppsition free space while we send 3 players to the ball. Insanely dumb footballers and coaching

2019 can just [censored] off.

These umpires are so incompetent and inconsistent.

Didnt realise Hannan was playing till i saw him last qtr lol.

Max was crucified by the umpires - something has to be said. How he doesn’t lose it each week is beyond me.

Gripping game - a real arm wrestle. Low skills but super tightly contested. Never really felt like we might win, but never felt like they were going to skip away either.

Loved Petty as a temporary forward - it’s definitely an option to continue to explore for the rest of the year. Development year, so what better time?

Goodwin rolled the dice moving May forward and it nearly worked. He is such a beast. I’m a huge fan.

Preuss has ten thumbs. He actually reminds me of pre-breakout Gawn. He WILL be a useful tandem with Gawn, but isn’t yet. Also Gawn was no good when not in the ruck.

All in all, just another loss really.

Certainly did well for the tackle but that kick from Gus sums up our whole year.  Half good..half shizenhouzen.

So many NQRs we are carrying (for whatever reason) week after week.

Pressure has been better the last three weeks from some but too many give it up far too easily and we get burnt on the rebound.

Cant string more than one win together through a series of injuries, poor form, a lack of class/finish and horrid game style/forward quality including forward method & personel.

Maybe next year!  Where have i heard that before. Nearly five decades of saying that now sadly.

Score a good reflection of the game. Lever and Jetta will be better for the run, makeshift forward line was always going to be stretched, but once again, too many players out, too little consistency in the team we're putting on the park and still too many (fringe) players where chains of possession break down.

Against that, a good opportunity for younger players, and Petty did well, working to his strengths.

Final point: Steven May. Bag him all you want, but showed what real, take the game by the scruff of the neck leadership looks like.

Hannan, Anb, Lockhart, Jetta, Dunkley, pruess were non existent to horrible. Hard to win with 25% of your team handicapping you

Bit harsh on Lockhart, looked like he was doing a job on Johannisen and kept him relatively quiet. The rest agree on.

Sloppy in going forward, sloppy in close, sloppy 'myrical' handballing when not necessary, sloppy attempting to mark in packs - and sloppy umpiring when held, pushed out, blocking.

    TRAINING: Monday 20th January 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
