Are we allowed to forfeit and save money on airfares etc?

The way I see it, they owe us for giving them a soft training run in the PF, keeping them fresh enough to overrun the filth in the Granny

Keilty, Omac, Jeffy and if we are gonna call a spade a spade Tracca and Gus deserve to be dropped.

Pray for undermanned back to wall effort next week - same as Daniher era

Spine:

            Hale

            Pace

            Morecambe

            Wise

            B. Hill

then we could justify calling our team a bloody joke.

So Lewis will definitely miss, yes? Who played well at casey today?

Preuss must come back in obviously someone needs to replace hibbard. So next week we are relying on Oscar and frosty to stop Kennedy & Daring? Great.

Keilty most likely to go for Preuss. Omac should be but who replaces him. I’d keep Garlett in. He’s getting to the right spots, he’s just fumbling at the moment. He’ll find some touch. Trac was our most dangerous forward tonight. Won most if not all one on ones when the ball is on the ground. And gus, he’ll b right.

... running out to the new club song "Yackety Sax"

Out: Hibbo, Keilty, Lewis (he re injured himself in the last)

In: Preuss, ANB, whoever played well for Casey (didn’t watch the game as was out for mother’s day)

I pray Melksham will be fine, but it’s a short break and a long trip so I’m not holding my breath.

I assume Fritsch will go back to defense to cover Hibbo. Preuss direct replacement for Keilty.

Gus hasn’t played this bad since 2017. Deserves another week given we have players in the side who haven’t played well since 1978 and still manage to get games.

Out: Hibberd, maybe Melk, Lewis, Garlett, Keilty.

In: Preuss (Keilty), T Smith (Melk), ANB (Jeff), Jordon (Hibberd), C Wagner (Lewis).

My guess is they keep Lewis and Garlett despite the damage they must be doing to team culture with continued weak efforts.

Simply is not going to happen, the coaching panel do not react in the same way as  supporters, and thankfully they don't

Hibberd, Melksham and Lewis are almost certain to miss.  You would think Kielty is out in favour of Preuss as well.

Given West Coasts tall forwards, I wonder if we might see Petty come back in.  He was emergency today and has been playing well.

Given Spargo was sitting out today as an emergency as well, I suspect he comes in.  That leaves one.

ANB seems likely as the player with runs on the board, but I would really like to see them take a risk and give Baker a shot.  He's more risk/reward.  He can hit the scoreboard, but won't do the grinding work and assists that ANB provides.

What you mean they don't put the beer down and dribble [censored] all over their keyboards

Awful game, both sides trying not to lose, but we got the 4 points

Ya think?

Thanks for that golden snippet of what is clearly highly confidential insider information......

We have few players to come in, but will likely need to find replacement for Hibberd, Melksham, and Lewis at a minimum

We need Preuss in, obviously, but with our injuries will Keilty be dropped for him?

I’ll guess...

IN: Preuss, ANB, Baker, C Wagner
OUT: Kielty, Hibberd, Melksham, Lewis

As I recall, nobody played well in 1978 ?

  • REPORT: West Coast

On a night of counting, Melbourne captain Max Gawn made sure that his contribution counted. He was at his best and superb in the the ruck from the very start of the election night game against the West Coast Eagles at Optus Stadium, but after watching his dominance of the first quarter and a half of the clash evaporate into nothing as the Eagles booted four goals in the last ten minutes of the opening half, he turned the game on its head, with a ruckman’s masterclass in the second half.  No superlatives would be sufficient to describe the enormity of the skipper’s performance starting with his 47 hit outs, a career-high 35 possessions (22 of them contested), nine clearances, 12 score involvements and, after messing up an attempt or two, finally capping off one of the greatest rucking performances of all time, with a goal of own in the final quarter not long after he delivered a right angled pass into the arms of Daniel Turner who also goaled from a pocket (will we ever know if the pass is what was intended). That was enough to overturn a 12 point deficit after the Eagles scored the first goal of the second half into a 29 point lead at the last break and a winning final quarter (at last) for the Demons who decided not to rest their champion ruckman at the end this time around.

  • POSTGAME: West Coast
