Its Time for Another 4,306 Posted March 14, 2019 Posted March 14, 2019 On 3/13/2019 at 9:27 PM, Wiseblood said: 40,000 members prior to Round 1 is a great achievement! Surely we're aiming at possibly signing up 50k by the cut off date? It actually seems like a realistic target now. In 2016 we set a membership record of 39,211. The hope was we’d get to 40,000 the next season. We’ve just hit 40,000 and it’s mid March. At the rate of increase in the last 2 weeks we’ll crack over 50,000. That was a dream just 3 years ago and the Club has only just reached finals for the first time. You can see that 60,000 doesn’t seem like such a pipe dream in the next couple of years. 2 Quote
whatwhat say what 23,875 Posted March 14, 2019 Posted March 14, 2019 60k is realistic in 2020 if we make finals again 70k might be a shot in 2020 if we win the premiership this year Quote

Oneday 248 Posted March 15, 2019 Posted March 15, 2019 I was just speaking to the membership team, apparently we are at about 41,140 as of this morning. 1 Quote
Demon Disciple 12,538 Posted March 15, 2019 Posted March 15, 2019 Should we win a flag anytime soon, i'd expect our membership to significantly drop the following year. What % of the membership are 50+ years old? Most will suffer massive heart attacks after the siren. The rest of us will either drink ourselves to death or die from lack of sleep as a result of wayyyyy too much adrenaline. 2 2 1 Quote

If I die at our winning Grand Final I have advised my fellow Dees tragics to go full “Weekend at Bernie’s” style with me for the duration of the celebrations. 2 1 Quote

Redleg 42,181 Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 How bad must things be at the kennel? They are offering a free upgrade to a full club membership if a 3 game membership is bought. Make a mockery of membership numbers, unless they are categorized. 2 1 Quote
