They say on dark nights ... just like that one ... about 3am on the Freo foreshore, when the DJ has packed up his gear and gone home and the night is still and quiet, you can hear the sound of a power forward ralphing into the lapping waves below

Nice ambient place. Sound travels far, echoes over the water currents....

Master Po:  It is just the notion of social evaluative contribution based on formative reasoning that differs and then it might progressively change to interpersonal evaluative judgements - depending on one's own haste for that change, itself.

Grasshopper: uh .... right. Do you reckon Jesse is going to kick a bag when he plays us?

In spite of his callous beliefs, Mazer is an intelligent and perceptive man, and his insights into Bugger psychology are invaluable.

Got a feeling Hogan might know a lot about bags.

Easy to take post shots at the guy. Will remain a favourite even in freo colors. Gave us hope when we needed it. Hard trainer off field coming back in great condition at the start of the last  preseason and was leading b and f or close before injury.  Can't doubt his commitment to the club and hasn't broken any laws. We have all been on a bender in the past and good luck to him what he does during his break as long as mentally he is ok

Nobles oblige on his behalf for the betterment of the blind masses who throng for inspired meanings. An article each week should be put to the Filth throng in their dark space ethers from this font of excellence (MR), explaining toothlessness, an evaluation of cant and covetness, and a range of inspirational offerings for the betterment of all mankind through a healing of themselves.

Shouldn't be in Freo colours .An ill conceived and particularly poorly executed trade .However he is opposition and  can no longer be a favourite .

Not so sure, as this generation seems to be a softer, more entitled one, than the ones before. This seems to be a "me" generation.

Anyway it is a difficult argument to win, but just an opinion.

Haha, every generation says this. You could just as easily level this at the 'super entitled' baby boomer generation, who have completely locked other generations out from the housing market and kept gen X and y out of top jobs.

I’ve always been curious as to what type of human one has to be when on sight of someone who’s had one too many, the first instinct is to snap a photo and circulate it on the internet.

Scum

Not alcohol related but similar - I was first on scene to a pretty bad traffic accident a few years and was trying to pull the driver out of the car as it was smoking. A lady in an SUV pulled up next to me and I thought I was going to get some help but when I turned around she’d given her phone to her daughter, who was no older than 8, and she begun filming.

It was about that time I gave up on humanity.

It’s becoming all too common mate but that’s nothing.

I lived and worked in Zambia and DRC in Africa for about six years and I can tell you that they value life a lot less than us westerners. Some of the traffic accidents over there are horrific but rather than stopping to lend a hand, the local first responders steal what they can from people who are dying. Shoes are the most common for obvious reasons in truly horrific cases.

Not a bad looking oval, had a look at their site and it’s available for hire. Going cheap too, $50 P/Hour without floodlighting and $100 P/Hour with.

We should look into that. It's a lot less than we're paying C'wood for Gosch's.

Be careful - you will get a good dose of Cockburn.

R14 May vs. Hogan at the 'G'.

The second time the Dockers play at the "G" for the season and the last time they at that venue for the season.

We are paying C’wood to use Gosch’s?

It's Game Day and the Demons have a chance to notch up their third consecutive win — something they haven’t done since Round 5, 2024. But to do it, they’ll need to exorcise the Demons of last year’s disastrous trip out West. • FEATURE: 1925

A hundred years ago today, on 2 May 1925, Melbourne kicked off the new season with a 47 point victory over St Kilda to take top place on the VFL ladder after the opening round of the new season.  Top place was a relatively unknown position for the team then known as the “Fuchsias.” They had finished last in 1923 and rose by only one place in the following year although the final home and away round heralded a promise of things to come when they surprised the eventual premiers Essendon. That victory set the stage for more improvement and it came rapidly. In this series, I will tell the story of how the 1925 season unfolded for the Melbourne Football Club and how it made the VFL finals for the first time in a decade on the way to the ultimate triumph a year later.
