These muppets are on the radio now getting the west coast supporters frothing at the mouth off the back of Neil Mitchells comments on 3AW.

  • Melbourne supporters are buying tickets just to not turn up to dilute the crowd
  • Melbourne thru Mitchell are planning to have a dedicated group of fans that the broadcaster will refer to for the team and coach
  • blah blah

It's a laugh not to be missed. Usual barbs about the snow, rich melbourne supporters etc..

They are still mad about the fact they all had to sell their SS Commodore Utes and jet ski's after the mining money dried up and the state become largely irrelevant again.

We need the Freo supporters to stir the pot over their.

Should buy tickets for Freo supporters to Barrack for Melbourne, they hate each other and Freo supporters would love to go and watch the Eagles lose.

Gees what bathwater do West Coast fans drink over there?

Can understand why Freo fans hat them as much as they do.

And what extra help do we need after beating them the last two meetings anyway.

First preference obviously Dees supporters to be at the game, but if not get the Freo fans on board if there are tickets unsold, [censored] those drug sniffing bastards.

I wonder if Jeffrey! Jeffrey! Jeffrey! Farmer can get a movement going, the official 'Freo supporters who are ok about Melbourne and hate the Eagles' seating area.

So apparently Neil Mitchell has spoken with someone at channel 7 that is prepared to work with the club to ensure that the broadcaster focuses on a select group of Demons fans for Goodwin to refer to for motivation - considering how negative the environment can be.

From herald sun

Channel 7 boss Lewis Martin said work is underway to ensure that vision of passionate Demons fans gathered in Melbourne is shown to players during their preliminary final clash with the Eagles in an effort to boost their spirits in the cauldron of Perth Stadium.

“If they all get together en masse, then we’ll make sure that that contribution from the Melbourne supporters here locally in Melbourne will have an impact on their 22 players,” he said.

“Fans are playing a big role.”

He said the fans could be the team’s “23rd man” and that the images would go “straight to the heart of the players”.

Sounds like the Eagles clowns over there are a little bit nervous about how it will pan out on Saturday.

Everyone in Melbs to a pre-assigned place (with a bar) to be broadcast there. Kinda like outside centre court during Aus Open or inside Punt Rd for the 500,000 tigers fans who couldn't fit into the G last year

I'm not sure how this helps the players during the game.
