If he doesn't play forward to stretch our defence

They'll already have Kennedy, Darling and Vardy forward.

Good luck to them if they send McGovern down there too.

For years this [censored] has bent us over.

No doubt he's thinking about sacking Clarkson.

I'd take Clarkson off his hands. He'd make a handy assistant coach ?

Gee after a great win this is your first post. Give it a rest, and just because you post the same post 3 times won't make it true, stop being a copy and paste poster.

To Mr president of the MFCSs.

Whilst i am not a huge fan of Viney or jones football wise and I have even posted this even I must admit both have played well in both matches and as a supporter I hope that continues on in Perth next Saturday.

Go dees.

Thanks for the laugh.

its not being negative, but factual, we were belted in the first half and only their inaccuracy had us in front, King is right, we will be smashed by WC if we play the same. I don’t have a history of being a negative poster here, so don’t sook because you disagree with me, any poster with a clue can see our first half was below par. We can and should beat WC, but if you think what we dished up on Friday will do it, then you are clueless

Cool.

I agree with your final two words.

He is the most inspirational player we have had at the club in my lifetime.

I think I understand what you are saying... he can butcher the ball like his Dad did...BUT his effort, leadership and ability to get the ball in contested situations and get it out, as well as his tackle pressure, surely surely, far outweighs the butchering... not just last game, each game...

Really pleased the way two of our young talls, Weid and Oscar played.

Weid is just amazing for a tall forward, he tackles so hard, has really good hands and his kicking is becoming elite, I think there were a few who suggested we made a mistake in taking him ahead of Curnow, don't think so. He is only 21 and has a lot of development ahead of him.

Oscar has bulked up and doesn't get pushed out of the contest, and his kicking out of defence is excellent, he will be a star for Melbourne. There were some times during the game where I thought he would have to kick to a contest but he always found someone to kick it too.

They say talls take some time to develop, well if that's the case then we have a lot to look forward to.

Also what about Spargo, he is like a Tiger when the ball is in dispute, and he has poise beyond his years when he has the ball in hand.

On another matter, Bruce Mc is the most simpering commentator I've ever listened too, he sounds like he's having his jollies off when he talks about some of the Hawthorn players.

Think how irritating it will be when he starts drooling over our emerging MFC stars in future.  Cringeworthy.

Poppy .... roughie .... what a fool.

His demented growling is the worst. "Viney viney Viney" (in stupid growling voice) after he did brilliantly to kick it to the hot spot. (Brayshaw marked and goaled.)

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
