Wiseblood 24,637 Posted May 20, 2018 Posted May 20, 2018 I hope every single Melbourne supporter enjoyed every minute of that today. That performance could not have gotten any better, and after the last decade and with what we've put up with it's so satisfying to put Carlscum to the sword. And think about this... Hogan had just one goal. Oliver and Viney were relatively quiet. Hibberd was tagged out of the game. Yet we still kicked 25 goals and made the Blues look like an Under 11 side. Melksham was BOG for me and what a recruit he has been. Not only did he kick 5 but he set up heaps with his sublime skills. McDonald kicked a bag, ANB got in on the act, Brayshaw continues to get better and better while the kids like Fritsch and Spargo are doing the same. Just a total team performance. Special mention to Bull Smith as well - he battled manfully in the ruck and did some excellent work around the ground. I love this bloody club and I hope you all do, too! DEMONS!!!! 43 4 Quote

Rod Grinter Riot Squad 5,681 Posted May 20, 2018 Posted May 20, 2018 Gee with some fair umpiring, we could have won by 25 goals!! Bring on the crows 9 1 Quote
Nasher 33,686 Posted May 20, 2018 Posted May 20, 2018 I thought Bull was excellent. The first two goals of the 3rd quarter were achieved because he killed the contest when outnumbered 2 to 1 at full forward. What a great day. 16 Quote
DSP 1,488 Posted May 20, 2018 Posted May 20, 2018 Great Win. Huge scores back to back. Percentage is red hot. Momentum on our side. Everyone lined up for a goal or 4. Go Dee's! 1 Quote
—coach— 3,496 Posted May 20, 2018 Posted May 20, 2018 Toatally disappointed we didn’t win by 150, sack the coach, trade all the players and disband the club!!! 3 5 Quote
Jaded No More 68,976 Posted May 20, 2018 Posted May 20, 2018 Meh I guess that was ok.... Just kidding, that was so enjoyable and to the fat Carlton loser who was giving everyone the finger and swearing in the first quarter and then disappeared, go suck a sack of turds! 5 1 6 Quote

What 18,810 Posted May 20, 2018 Posted May 20, 2018 Jake Lever had more possessions than Clayton Oliver. What a time to be alive. 11 Quote
Vagg 2,449 Posted May 20, 2018 Posted May 20, 2018 Gut wrenching end to the game, with Tommy missing that easy shot on goal. He sure is a party pooper!! 1 2 Quote
Bang Bang Bang 5,875 Posted May 20, 2018 Posted May 20, 2018 I can't believe Max Gawn ran over the mark at the quarter time siren. Max, you are paid a lot of money to do the basics right. You killed any momentum we had going into the huddle. Am I doing it right, @poita? 1 2 2 Quote

Return to Glory 8,518 Posted May 20, 2018 Posted May 20, 2018 The key was that they played as a unit. And all of a sudden we have five or six forward options at any one time. 6 Quote
