For those among us who may be recovering from severe MFCSS, or suffer relapses, I wish to reassure that this does not mean that Hogan has drowned in a pool, nor are we wasting a draft pick on Nicolas Cage.

Weid has finally justified his inclusion at the center of the Demonland banner!

Good luck trying to pick  the 10 players for next years banner.   I tried it and had to expand it to 16 til I was  mildly satisfied.  Just too much talent to fit in.

And that was with the easy decision to take Hunt and Daisy out.

If we do keep her in it’ll have to be a preggers pic of her! ?

As for who makes the banner, good luck Demonland on deciding that!

A Cup as the centrepiece would be a good starting point!

If all are fit next year, Hogan plays CHF, Weid FF changing ruck with Gawn who goes to the bench, Tmac plays wing then FF when Weid rucks.

New rules next year will change dynamic of game for every ball up.

Haha you do know that’s meant to be Viney yes?

I made the same mistake when it first went up.

I like that it’s ambiguous enough for us to anoint whoever played better each weekend.

Viney's victims sub banner solves that.......

Stop talking about yourself again

Weid is really struggling. No second efforts. His usually reliable kicking is lacking.

His miss in the second qtr today from 30 metres out was disgraceful.  He missed everything and only just made 30 metres.

No contested marking makes him completely one dimensional.

Need to persist but definitely needs a stick of dynamite somewhere.  Talent only gets you so far. Attitude and hard work are needed at AFL level.

Was he injured? Looked like it, with 10 minutes to go....

just cooked i think, from being sole forward and ruck relief

he needs to work on his engine and his competitiveness in the contest, big time

In round one against Port Adelaide his second efforts were non-existent, not much has changed?

We would be mad to not look at trading him.

But who would take the bait?

Exactly. More potential keeping. Just turned 22. Played 30 games.

Some posters expect players to develop instantly. No patience. (queue the  references to 1964...)

Agree. Competitiveness is lacking. Goes at 1-2 contests then is wasted.  One effort only.  Needs some mongrel tablets. Play like there is no tomorrow.

Watched him closely today. Is a lead up fwd only. Too often tries to body his oppnent and he gets crushed. Badly out of form and confidence.

Plenty on here want to get rid of Kielty

But having watched him at Casey he is a much better prospect than Weiderman .He is always praised by the coach for his discipline and team first approach.

His two senior games weren’t too bad and he’s had far less chances than Omac and others

The Weed is still going to take time, but it's a bit of a worry.

Would everyone be so worried tho if we didn't kick the ball over his [censored] head all the time and he was averaging another goal a game this year?

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
