I like that Roosy identifies as a Melbourne supporter still. I heard him say it to Iron Mike and he still says it.

I assume when his 'boys' pass through the club, he will go back to being a Swan and I wouldn't begrudge him that.

I'm 100% behind Roos - think he is on the money. I would love to see us spending more money in the areas of injury prevention and management. However, you cant spend what you dont have -so our big danger would be a horror run of injuries. I look forward to us growing our memberships and average crowds then things will change - then we are less in the hands of injuries.

Paul Roos help to build a strong foundation for us to be successful in the near future and for that l forever thank him. Hope your a Demon supporter for life.

Who cares? So was Barassi. But I'd listen to them, both, any day ahead of what we get in the media today.

I'm not picky when it comes to commentators, i'm more focused on the game and the commentary is background noise.

I hate to break it to you but I'll be at the game too (without my equipment). Although I could stream live from my phone but I'd be too nervous. Perhaps I'll do the last quarter when we're 48 points up at 3/4 quarter time. Oops we've blown lead like that in the past.

Yep. There’s hardly any commentators left. Most of them have turned into “Special Comments” and it’s terrible listening.

Adam Papalia and Brenton Speed seem a tad refreshing, those two actually call the game.

When she was 5, my niece 'wrote a book' about going to the football with me.

The only thing I say in the book is "Oh no, oh no, oh no" over and over again on every page, which is pretty much what you'd get if I was calling the game.

I'd be out of breath from pacing back and forth. Being a Melbourne fan is not good for the ticker despite the added exercise from the pacing.

Can't we just destroy teams every week so I can enjoy the game. Is that too much to ask.

No expletives? No complaining at umpiring decision? No justification for Demons players getting all the votes 3,2,1 win, loss ( which obviously we will never have to consider) or draw? Maybe when the opposition do get a touch we have our own catch cry  "Oh no, oh no, oh no"

Yeah - if my son had to write a book about our time at the footy, it would probably be called “Oh, that’s bull$h!t!!”

Paul (and all those other scribes), please don't talk us up.

Broken expectations have almost killed me over recent seasons.

If we make finals fine, anything short of that, forget it.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.
