ELECTRIC

The dashing youngster with the shock of blond hair progressed well in 2017. His electric speed and long kicking often allowed him to not only break up lines, but also to greatly unsettle opposing teams.

Just the type of exciting player footy fans love to watch, someone who keeps the turnstiles clicking over. And a bit of a character to boot (glad we didn't give him the boot a couple of years ago)!!!

Hmm!

It's  Super...Hunt !!  Able to run faster than a locomotive.( well metro ...not too hard ) .. fly for a mark ( sometimes )  kick further than a Pyongyang missile.

By day an average guy...on weekends  he dons his favourite headband and takes on all enemies !!

Too much  ??

Seemed to have a quieter second half to the season but then again so did most of the team. IIRC some teams were tagging him which may have limited his impact.

Will be interesting to see how he goes with Lever in the team.

Became our only 'creator' and teams shut him down and us in the second half of the year.

Really good player though, has trouble hitting spot up kicks but with Hogan up the ground next year will have more room to work with.

they were indeed ...big time

Normally attention to one member of a team releases others...we didnt quite take advantage of that...over to you Simon  ;)

Great player. I would be considering him for the wing.

plays a very high back flank...not much of an ask to get a bit jiggy in the middle. Suspect this will happen esp with Lever coming in...and others....umm...out

Fast becoming, if not already, my favourite player.  Love the way he goes about it- tough, exciting and damaging.

Started the year in amazing form, but stuttered a bit following the concussion in Adelaide.

Key component to out team going forward in the future.

Needs to learn to down gear from 5th to 3rd when he gets himself clear at times.  This will help with his vision and ability to hit targets.

Confident that he will learn to do that.

Think he's started to do that already.

Well, well, well...isn’t this kid a bit spesh

Love his run and carry, his intensity, he doesn’t mind a tackle and his spot up kicking is getting better all the time

He’s a smart player and will hopefully continue to become an absolute vital part of our side

He’s so important to us in the way he launches that springboard style that we like to play

He’s actually a better defender than Hibberd in my view, so I don’t mind him continuing to be more of a back flanker where Hibberd plays slightly higher

They certainly complement each other nicely

License to thrill!!!

Loving the noise coming from the Members wing when he gets it and goes.

Kicks a great barrel

They should give him a licence to do that into the 50 more - I would bet Garlett would get to the footy first.

He does play wing at times, half back at times, forward to pressure at times, last line of defence at times , he is so quick l miss what he is doing at times. However I don't miss him all of the times.  just some times. SOMETIMES l watch the replay to catch on what he does.

sometimes.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.
