Pick 22? Now they have Pick 19

Yeah, apparently Port are fuming that the Motlop compo pick will allow Geelong to steal Watts from under their noses .

19 for Ablett and 22 for Watts

Yep have also heard this from my spy who fishes the Barwon often and lands some Big ones!

Geelong with Watts and Ablett would be almost premiership material!

I think everyone in the comp is fuming about that Motlop compo, funnily enough it may work in our favour for once.

Nah, Viney will fix Abletts' shoulder and Jack will get lost in Moorabool St never to be seen again.

I disagree.

I think there is far less than is being made of this by the media.

A serial under performer for the 9 seasons he has been on the list and the club has said, best you have a look at other options. If we can get value in a trade that you agree to, we will take it. Since that time I think the club has been mainly very disciplined and consistent  in all that it has said.

Jack will either stay or go. Whichever it is, it is up to jack as to how he responds.

I think that the AFL media has made a mountain out of a molehill.

In my opinion, if you strip away the media hype, the football club has handled it well whatever the outcome. I back the football department to make the right decisions.

He rucked well for us when Max went down. This is not a long term decision

This decision to off load Jack has been made quickly. Why? is all i want to know

there is no point in playing him after a hammy injury in Round 23 if he was already off the books ?

this is not a cut and dried easy situ

Tom $cully was “injured” for most of his 2nd year with us. I called BS on that at the time and i reckon it was the right call, as the little turd has played and run week after week since then.

Clubs lie often

Don’t believe everything. After watching Jack’s video last saturday i don’t think he knows the full story either.

He certainly wasn’t planning a new life...

Motlop is considered a massive downhill skier. Here is his comparison with Watts. They are almost an identical age. Not sure why some of hte contested stats didn't generate but they are remarkably similar yet Watts is a legend of the game....

So Pick 3 (Hogan) for Frawley didn't work in our favour?

I'm talking about all the concession picks plus compo picks being thrown in and pushing us back.

That was an hilarious win though but we were rubbish.

Jack’s gone, but i want to know why

regardless of his one arm tackle attempts, he is the best kick in the side.

Some of our disposal this year was atrocious.

It is not unreasnoable as a shareholder to ask questions...

I know he's played in some ordinary teams, but they are mightily disappointing stats for a #1 pick.

No, it's not, but nothing will be divulged until it's on Open Mike or Open Gerard

What a great way for the Demonland faithful to send off a man, who would likely have the most posts about him in the history of Demonland.

I can't wait for him to get a bag of goals next season, we can have another merry-go-round of Jack Watts posts.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

    TRAINING: Wednesday 11th December 2024

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

Some veteran Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock to bring you the following observations from another Preseason Training Session. WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

A couple of intrepid Demonland Trackwatchers headed down to Gosch's Paddock for the midweek Preseason Training Session to bring you the following observations. Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
