So awesome to see AFL House in turmoil.

If there was a gold medal for this event they would not both running the race.

While it's titillating for a moment it's a minor issue that is occurring in thousands of workplaces around the country.  It's happening today, tomorrow and will be in 50 or 150 years.

As usual, it's the parties we don't hear from that are hurt the most.  But that's their business.

For the innocent victims, such as families, sure. For the perpetrators, not so much. People must always appreciate they have to be held accountable for their actions.

How hard is it to not [censored] someone else if you're married?!

It's pretty hard. My mates a divorce attorney and I told him he should name his boat 'It Was Only The One Time'.

Without all the facts, this seems a minor issue in the scheme of things and something that Dill deals with well (think pies).

If only he were to move so quickly and concisely on the big issues facing the game.

It's about power discrepancy

How much power does it take to keep your legs closed?

It's about vengeance and money.

It's about home wrecking.

Anyone suggesting the women involved should resign as well are showing a complete lack of understanding of the situation, especially from a legal perspective. God damn it AFL, your execs should know better ...

press release from Gil McLachlan:

"The AFL has a deserved reputation in following world's best practices in screwing over our integrity and screwing over our rules. But screwing over anyone or anything that has nothing to do with ratings or profitability is a waste of time and resources and therefore cannot be tolerated. For that reason we are cutting these guys adrift without a second thought. They will have to do something much worse if they expect any loyalty or support from AFL house."

Was he talking about workplace relations or just making conversation?

Maybe he was warning you off. Find your own household crockery, young 'un.

She's not a senior exec. Before you suggest anything sexist, it would be the same outcome if it was a senior female executive with a young male.

Are you sure about that? Because I'm not.

Certainly isn't the case with male teachers and female students vs female teachers and make students. There are a lot of double standards with this sort of thing....

That would be equality.

The men involved will pay for this severely and the women will make money from it.

I love the way you assume nothing ever improves.  I'd say the situation where there is an imbalance of power is better today than it was 20 years ago and a damn sight better than in the middle ages - or do you regret the passing of droit du seigneur?  All that damn political correctness.

THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
