Satan 2,921 Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 Good luck to the kid , everything else is irrelevant
Wells 11 5,493 Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 faaaaark me. My heart goes out to Jesse. Ive been a cancer survivor and have some idea of the journey ahead for him But, on a less heart felt and selfish note note.....ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh .... this club is surely cursed. We shouldnt be allowed to have top ten picks because they all get ill in some new rarely seen way. It might even be dangerous to be picked by us.
DeeZee 7,496 Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 90% success rate and normally a six week recovery period after the operation
dazzledavey36 56,285 Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 Just read that the prognosis is pretty positive.
Maldonboy38 6,435 Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 The poor young bloke must be wondering what the hell is going on. First his Dad, not playing much footy, and now this. Thoughts and prayers are with you big fella.
DSP 1,488 Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 Surgery today and prelim scans look good so far. Very treatable. But horrific year for a young man. We are all behind ya hoges. Rest up, get right and come back firing.
Mdemonski3 174 Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 You've made your point Norm Smith. Now $&?! Off and leave us alone!
Salems Lot 2,692 Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 Heart goes out to the family at this time. I too know survivors of this disease
Clintosaurus 7,953 Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 Best to Jesse. If we make the finals this year it will be one of the more sensational achievements.
Billy 2,565 Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 Poor bugger, first his dads passing and now this. Nothing but positive thoughts for Jesse.
iv'a worn smith 1,979 Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 All the best big fella. A very treatable condition as has been said, with an extremely high survival rate. That said, as far as I am concerned, Jesse can take all the time he needs to get over this.
qwerty7 326 Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 From MFC: "This was an extremely early detection and Jesse is expected to make a full recovery and will return to football this year."
Ethan Tremblay 31,388 Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 Devasted for the young fella. All the best with treatment and recovery.
Lord Ivanhoe 311 Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 Sending you healing energy Jesse Gee, How long has he been dealing with this and his Dad!!! Like having to play football with a ball n chain on your leg and a sack of potatoes on ya back!
Dee Zephyr 19,311 Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 Our MFC family is strong and wish you all the best Jesse!
Rocknroll 1,010 Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 Jesus, What bad luck. Thoughts to you kid. Get well, it is only footy. However, as a long lasting demons fan, I cant help but feel a little cursed. Still on a high from the weekend only to be kicked in the balls by this (and Gus) news
Robbie57 2,042 Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 No words. What a terrible and tough time for him and his family. Can only wish them the best. Here's hoping for a full recovery.
beelzebub 23,392 Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 Best of luck to you lad. Get better, take your time. It is actually about you, deal with this and everything else as you can in your own manner.
