I don't understand the hate for Goddard.
Apart from playing for Essendon .......

I'm throwing Tom Hawkins in the mix though.
Never liked posers.

How can any sane person not utterly disdain this bloke? He's dull, clueless, inept on the field, made a horrendous choice by leaving the Saints for the Drug Cheats, and has the personality of a used tampon.

He's got as much charisma as the deposit my bowel made two hours ago.

Anyone got any residual feelings for Lloydy?

Touch-on-the-hip-fall-forward Lloydy?

Touch-on-the-shoulder-fall-forward Lloydy?

Touch-nowhere-fall-forward Lloydy?

Free kick for in-the-back Lloydy?

Take 45hours to shoot at goal while the seasons change and the grass species change beneath his feet Lloydy?

For me its Joe Daniher by the length of the Flemington straight, he is an A grade tool and he has very good company with Jake Stringer

I like to tackle the hard issues BBO (even if I literally pulled my punches to the head in respect to the title, much to the disgust of Biffen). It will, however, be my first and last thread creation.

Please don't be discouraged RTG.

The is a lot of hate in the room.

It's good for the soul.

Brent Harvey by an absolute mile.

Sam Mitchell heading the chasing pack. Loved him smashing Hannebury's throat on Friday night - as usual, won't be looked at.

Filthy snipers both.

Surprised that no one has mentioned hodge yet, he and Mitchell are the biggest dogs in the afl. Stringer is doing well considering his age, boomer and firrito are longtime twats.

Agreed, but why do Aussies say it so that it rhymes with "what"? It should rhyme with "hat".

Why can't the English say Vitamins properly?

it's just one of those gaping cultural differences .

Like when you switch on the cricket and they say 9 for 1 and you think the innings is nearly over.

Either way, it pretty much sums up English cricket.

Whilst I would never knowingly condone violence I have to admit that my fist twitches uncontrollably at the mere mention of Harvey, some sort of pavlovian response. it's quite involuntary and I feel great shame in my animal blood lust response to the mere mention of the "Little Champ". Must stop posting now my fists are wildly flaying at fresh air.

No actually, they don't, otherwise they wouldn't be classified as such. Some know how to fake empathy though....

As far as most punchable faces go, Daniher is right up there.

The following players are well and truly on my list of blokes I would gladly punch in the face, vomit and/or p155 on without a second thought...

  • Jake Stringer (has recently elevated himself to the top of the list)
  • Tyrone Vickery (Unlucky to lose the title recently)
  • Dale Thomas (^&*#head of the highest order)
  • Alex Rance (Obvious and frustration is a poor excuse)
  • Ed Langdon (the name just encourages the urge)
  • Boomer Harvey (retire already would you)
  • Lindsay Thomas (wanchor)
  • Andrew Walker (Just annoys me)
  • Hamish Hartlett (Sniper and all round dish licker)
  • Tom $cully (Cnut)

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
