Jones - outstanding all game

Vince - provided the class

Hogan - wasn't really needed

Viney - outstanding until concussed

Gawn - dominated the ground

Tyson - prolific but wasteful

Oliver - genius in close

Stretch - used speed well

Kent - some classy cameos

Garland - far from convincing

Pedersen - successfully played role

Michie - neat but tentative

McDonald - better second half

Hunt - attacking defensive weapon

Bugg - brilliant first half

Kennedy - better second half

Garlett - always a presence

Jetta - brave and focused

Wagner - prolific but uncertain

Harmes - Rising Star nominee

Watts - not his best

Petracca - exciting and clean

The team - backing one another

Edited by Return to Glory

i reckon Pedo was one of our best, consistently presented himself up forward and didn't disgrace himself in the ruck either. Really settling into his role which will only make it harder for Dawes to get back in.

No Watts?

Sacrificed game.

Brown bought it up in the last and they showed footage in game of him leading his player away so others could lead into the space.

Crunched a lot of packs and bodies and our leading scorer.

Hogan was double teamed all game, very needed and you could tell Suns were overly cautious of his movements. A huge decoy effort.

Gawn- would turn for

If he isn't considered for AA then the league is a sham.

The league is a sham. But wholly agree - I'd take Gawn in front of Goldie if I had the choice

Are you talking in the AA team or if you turned for him like Adzman?

You won't be able to sit for a month.

Watts has finally... FINALLY got to the point where he's backing his own footy smarts.

If this is the season he arrived I'm looking forward to him building  upon it.

Seems to take the lumbering Hulk a whiles to get going , then he's fine.

Tommy still needs to watch more Eastwood films

Garlo....utterly replaceable now.

Oliver... Wow...

Quite a few need more consistency. They're in and out of awareness.

Starting to like Kennedy.

If this year is about "penny dropping" , next season could be quite good

A bit of oversharing, Adzi.

Tyson - can't find space

oliver - words can't describe!

tracc - great second game

Garland - not all bad

watts - was rarely sighted

hogan - please bloody lead

wagner - we've unearthed another

stretch - belongs in team

kent - up and down

Viney - burst changed game

jones - almost best on

gawn - B O G!!!

vince - teams best kick

pedo - staking his claim

michie - little off pace

kennedy -  love his aggro

bugg - much better game

Garlett - dangerous but subdued

TMac - not his best

Harmes - setting his bar

jetta - always Mr reliable

Did Lumumba play? If so how good/bad was he?

No lumumba, Hunt did enough running off the back flanks to make up for him not being there

As in "Do you feel lucky, Punk?", I presume, rather than say `The Bridges of Madison County' ...:)

No Watts because he was nowhere to be seen! I saw that footage, yes one good play, but he had an off day. Hopefully he'll lift for the doggies!

Watts played his role - took defenders away leaving space.  Not everyone can kick a bagful in a massacre.

Jesse did much the same, with two defenders.

I though Hogan was pretty good. Didn't impact the scoreboard like last week but contested well all night.

Stats wont show his contribution but his bullocking work and pressure around the ground was very good for a man who was out numbered all night

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
