I reckon a few of these Etihad sides are going to get shown up during the finals series. Teams like North and the Bulldogs play all these games at Etihad in quite controlled and predictable conditions and then all of a sudden they have to play on the G in a final. I reckon we're a real chance next week against the Dogs.

North Melbourne are the worst 7-0 team I've ever seen.

Even worse are the idiot Norf fans who are up and about because of it. Makes you feel sick.

Saints deserved to win that.

The Roos play Essendon next week so they'll be 8-0 but i'm far from convinced they're in the elite group with Hawthorn, Sydney and Geelong, i think they'll be exposed when they have to play one of those sides.

Port looking okay again but still seriously below expectations compared to the talent on the list.

Which coach is under more pressure? Dimma, Bucks or Rocket?

I think Bucks.

Saints were robbed again by umpires

nought should be ashamed by that last 90 seconds. But of course the won't be.

Countdown clock whose fcuking great idea was that??

i hate Nought so much

they should be in Queensland by now...

Rockliff just did his hammy, and Christensen hurt his knee.  We play the Lions in 2 weeks at the G

Not that I am getting ahead of next weekends game

So good watching those coaches box shots of Scott's dummy spits..

I get so sick of those two little pills. They're infuriating.

How many times today did North players whinge at the umpires, yet still got a terrific run? Not to mention Swallow's best attempts to mirror his coach's look of arrogant bemusement at least twice. For a club that's had a pretty ordinary history and won't win a flag with their current mob, I'm surprised I hate them so much.

That kick for goal countdown clock is ridiculous.

The guy finished the game by waiting for it to count down. Yuk.

Not a good look. could have at least pretended to be lining up.

Reminded me of US sport actually. I'd be [censored] off if I was a St Kilda supporter, but he was working within the rules.

Working in the rules but geez it was a shocking, unsportsmanlike look. He will be target #1 next time Saints play North; if I were Richo I'd be playing that vision on loop in the lead-up to their next game.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
