New Fox Footy line ups

What a pity we won't get to hear Roosy repeat the same old rhetoric week, after week, after fkn week.

Buckley and Scott on Monday nights..... Suddenly MKR looks pretty good.

It's hard to understand how this show is the premier AFL show for Fox Sports who have poured so much money into getting the tv rights. Don't mind Whateley although he has the personality of a wet rag. Robinson, seriously is just an idiot. I really have no interest in anything he has to say.

Like others mind blown that out of 760 odd players you would pick a player who is serving a suspension for drug cheating. Pick a player, any player from 17 teams other than someone from that Club. Blows my mind.

Doesn't really effect me as other than watching Roosy I don't watch that show anymore anyway. I'd rather read this site.

Seriously, what the [censored] is Heppell meant to even talk about? He isn't allowed near the club, all he can offer is an insight into what it's like to be a banned drug cheat. And guess what, nobody gives a [censored]! Much less hearing about it for 30-odd weeks straight!

Seems the new Fox Footy line up on 360 means I'll be watching a lot less

also on the couch gets poorer.

like the sound of the other show with Jake Niall and Sarah Jones

They overlooked the Golden Boy a seat back on the couch?

I bet he appeals it.

I certainly won't be watching.

I will say that I didn't mind Roosy, as opposed to others, as he was able to defend the club and keep it totally out of the mud when we were atrocious.  His ability to give answers that didn't put our club in the shite was excellent.

Not really... Remember the 'veil of negativity' comments, which forced the club into a double-twisting-backflip clarification as to whether it was the supporters or the club at fault? (It was the whinging fans in the end).

That was terrible PR from PR.

Fair point, although that was once.

I still felt as though he was able to go out on that program of a Monday night and minimize the damage a little, particularly in his first year.  He was terrific at being concise while also giving an answer that didn't really address too much of what was going on.  Sometimes I thought we might get crucified by the media but, on occasion, he helped to keep that to a minimum.

The only part of that lineup that holds any genuine interest is Buckley who's always worth listening to. The other saving grace is that they have chosen the slightly more tolerable Scott brother.

Laughed out loud seeing Riewoldt's name. It seems that self imposed media ban has well and truly been turned on its head. Will be worth watching when Richmond's season inevitably falls short of expectation.

Monday night is the most important night, and Roosy was terrible. I can't recall one interesting thing he said in two years. Heppell on Thursdays is an absolute disgrace but overall I think they've improved the lineup. I can't quite put my finger on it but there's just something about this show that I love. Looking forward to its return.

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last
