So if Brisbane get the upset (looking possible at the moment) then Adelaide get their home final IF they pull their finger out. If I were Campo, I'd be screaming it into every player's ears at 3QT that beating Geelong means a home final after all.

Come on boys!!

Brissy giving their supporters some optimism and joy to go into the off season with. This is what we need tomorrow.

Brisbane taking it to a top 5 team. Tomorrow we play a bottom 10 team and we'll get smashed.

dogs aren't top 5 even if they win (which looks unlikely)

Nonetheless, 18th with nothing to play for but pride and they beat a squad about to play finals footy.

When was the last time we actually played *well* in the last round? (Hint: we were also about to play finals)

Big deal.

When the season was still alive we rolled some very, very good sides. The Lions come good in the last round against a side that had a creche down back and were hoping to get through unscathed. Not much to get your knickers in a twist about.

Angriest person in Australia right now - Scott Camporeale? With that Dogs loss they had the chance to move into 6th and a home final. Instead, they're almost certain to have to play the Dogs at Etihad instead.

Meanwhile, nice to see Brisbane play their best game in the last round. I know they didn't have Beams, not sure who else wasn't playing, but it would be nice if we didn't routinely consider our final games 'meaningless' and tried to put on a show for the fans.

yep adelaide stuffed it up but it was always going to be hard beating geelong at there home ground when they are farewelling 3 of there great players.

But Adelaide should be applauded for actually getting to the finals and achieving what they have this season after what they have been through.

You mean like beating Geelong at their home ground when they are celebrating one of their all-time favourite players' 300th game? :P

wow what a strange round. The way its going Carlton will probably beat hawthorn.

More likely the Saints will knock over the Weagles to give the Hawks second spot!

Dawks a lazy 9 goals up at 3/4 time....Calton blue baggers .....Wooden Spoon circa 2015.....best thing all season.

Thanks to the Crows throwing away their home final, I'm equal first in tipping now. Fantastic.

Question is, who holds their nerve tipping in the last 4 games that all appear reasonably one-sided? The only surprise upset I can predict is us, but this team hasn't won a single time that I've tipped them this year.

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
