It is ridiculous that Roosey, other club supporters and the media think there is a veil of negativity around our pathetic, doomed, fisted forever Demons.

You forgot "cursed".

Now that deserves serious thought as an alternative.

better still, od, why not get the whole of demonland to do a jonestown

the mcc might even allow us to use the mcg and provide the vats. after all we would be doing them a favour

I don't see how confronting faults helps the win/loss column.

I don't see any other clubs need to confront their faults.

They need to confront the playing list.

Thats who they need to confront.

Yes the Attitude of the playing list. That is the fault.

Nah Lemmings off the Top of the MCC Grandstand dc :)

Not silly at all. Schwab wanted to make Jack Grimes the "new" Barassi amid great song and dance. The result was Grimes career become very ordinary

creating little messiah's will not win us games...

Good point dc

Do we have any sponsors who could provide the ingredients?

Would surly make it easier for them to get the message over without all our negativity in the road.

yep, give them the "clean air", that's all that's holding them back

All clubs supporters are the same. Collectively, they are a mob. Our supporters are a mob. Hawthorn's supporters are a mob.

When the team wins, the mob is happy.

When the team loses, the mob is unhappy.

When the team is on a winning streak, the mob prophesy winning the next 10 premierships.

When the team is on a losing streak, the mob want to sack the suits, trade all the players, and burn the joint down. (Not necessarily in that order.)

When the team is in a dynasty of losing, like we are, the mob get very, very, very negative.

Only one thing can stop the rot. Winning matches. And the mob can't do the winning. They can only tag along and react.

Perhaps we need a members forum like Collingwood

The whole place is negative, how can it not be after the wasted opportunities of the last 8 years.

The fact remains though the media jump down his throat every time he says something

Of course we play a defensive game style.

Until we can do that what's the point in moving on.so much better off than we were 2 years ago it's not funny

As of round 1 next year Petracca, Kent, a fit Salem, Frost, a top 5 pick, possibly Trengove and an A grade draftee will

start on the ground. No more Bail, Jones and a host of other nqr's will be playing.

The light is on and the tunnel is illuminated.

The fact that most on this site can't see this and bemoan Roos is proof of the very negativity he speaks of.

Roos hasn't been just sorting out the coaching, he and Jackson have been rebuilding this club.

Listening to SEN this morning made me laugh. 2 more commentators trying to stir the pot.

In a couple of years Goodwin will take over a solid list and we'll be back playing finals

Really disappointed with some of the carp that comes out of our coaches mouth.

He blames everyone and everything except himself.

He said that even after the Geelong win people were coming up to him and saying, well you'll never do that again.

What a load of rubbish....after the Geelong win most of us were rapt and saying how great things were looking and hoping we had turned the corner.

Believe us Roosy when we tell you, we do not want to be negative at all, in fact we are sick to our stomachs of being negative....please please please, give us a reason to be positive, like win a couple of games in a row, or beat a bottom side, at least.

Ne constantly blames himself. He often refers to the fact that it must be him and the coaches. Listen to his interviews and stop making [censored] up

and now for some good news

the share market is only down .1% today (so far)

that sounds a little like we only lost by 2 goals

Negative negative dc

That just blew the game against Freo.

We had them till 2.35

Bugger.

Give me an example where he blames himself, because I haven't heard it.

Happy to be proven wrong mate.

Jack was tracking along nicely until Schwab changed his number, made the video

Grimes never played well again apart from that one punch....

Should have kept his own number...identity.

In that time Grimes also broke his collarbone and I would guess is about five kilograms of muscle lighter than he was back then.

Happy to be proven wrong mate.

Do you watch AFL360?

Because he is usually overtly boring and takes ownership for all the nonsense with the obligatory "we have go to do better as a coaching staff" and then meanders around a point about modern footy relationships for 10 minutes while Robinson tries to collect his drunken thoughts amidst the confusion.

The media has picked up on what he said coz they knew we would smell blood and have thrown it out to us, and haven't we loved it?

Posted

Also Robbo seems to have some strange grudge at the mo, related to Essendon/Dank/Bates/Magner, but he'll get over it.

The media will be the media, we're in their crosshairs now, them having moved on from Carlton and Essendon. They've done it to us before, will do it again.

There's only one way out, and that's to win games.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
