Bartlett said Jackson’s efforts couldn’t be underestimated since he took on the top position in May 2013.

Lol!!

Think about it....

Shouldn't that be: couldn't be overestimated!!

Apparently Dangerfield was interviewed on 360 and his response to Robbo questioning him on his future has a few Crows fans tripping balls on twitter just now.

Maybe something in those rumours?

Same person I spoke to suggested that Melbourne are not interested in taking Mitch back and this was before it became a media circus...

Wrong thread bro, there's 100 pages full of MC stuff

Saw a post somewhere on land passing on a rumour that the request to AFL for special assistance wasn't for a priority pick necessarily, but AFL funding to help Dee's pay full cap and subsequent player raid.

Would make perfect sense in this scenario.

Fairly certain part of AFL's equalisation strategy going forward was to assist poorer clubs pay 100% of the cap.

and the rest of the cap. If Mitch's salary was minimised for this year, as his manager recently suggested, under the new equalisation rules that can be shifted into future spending, essentially giving us at a guess, $1.2 million more next year than we would've had otherwise... add to the fact we would've been under the cap I guess anyway, we've got some coin there to spend...

Why would he want to come to us? He could command big money at other clubs with brighter prospects of finals success. I'd love to have him but it just doesn't add up.

That all depends on whether you think that 'finals success' trumps the almighty dollar, and whether or not you believe in santa

Captaincy - throw captaincy at him - It may be a slap in the face for Jonesy but boy would he add so much to us.

disagree with that

bad move culturally to purchase a player and give him the crown

straight to the LG but the crown has been very hard earned by Jonesy and I would be livid if circumstances like that stripped it from him, absolutely not Roosy's style

Just a thing I heard from a mate on the inside, so take it as you will: Nat Fyfe for Aidan Riley,

Not sure I could go for that. They'd have to throw in a sweetener to get it across the line. Maybe swap our second rounder for their first?

done. But I have it on good authority Freo will be seeking a 14 year contract for riley to get it done.

Front loaded, 5 million for the first year then 4.9 each following year.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
