Get ready for a defensive game next week, can we just play every player behind the ball from the opening bounce to limit the damage?

10 goal loss to GWS Could translate to another Geelong (186) against WCE BEST THING FOR CLUB THIS WEEK GET OUT OF MELBOURNE head over to the west Tuesday have a training camp in the north of Wa no media no luxuries made be a few home truths could be brought out

That rivals 186 as the most despondent I've ever felt as a Melbourne supporter. Our once proud club are at rock bottom. I'm heartbroken, shattered, totally gutted!

I just want to apologise to my children who are 13 and 16 , that they have not had even one decent year to enjoy footy and be proud to be Melbourne supporters. I'm sorry you had to follow this disgrace of a club, and if only I could turn back time I would have myself changed to a Hawthorn or Geelong when you were still babies.

Me too. To my 4 kids, I am so sorry. At least I had Flower, Shwartz, the Wiz, Neita, Jurrah. My kids get nothing.

I didn't go today. My son couldn't make it and I have the bug. But I am quite emphatic in saying I will not go to watch this trash until they show some heart. That was sickening! I don't want to see Frawley in an MFC kit ever again! I want Dawes to go back to Collingwood by any means available. I can only support Jetta, Jones & Dyson after that heartless debacle. I am feeling totally detached from the MFC and I have no intention of spending a dollar on that miserable excuse for a football team in 2015.

Posted

I didn't watch the second half just checked the scores a couple of times.

My feelings aren't of anger or even disappointment.

Not sure what I feel, it could be hopelessness at the realisation we are just that bad and quite possibly gone as a club.

Posted

I hope Roos doesn't crap on about the tanking and losing culture etc in his presser.

Just say "they ain't any good and we need to gut the team bigger than ever before".

NO MORE EXCUSES.

Oh and for god sake don't let any of the players speak to the media during the week and say "we need to get better as a team, we need to be consistent, we need to improve etc etc bla bla bla bla bla.

Show something on the field FFS.

I just can't believe we beat tiges, blues, dons and crows.

It just doesn't make sense.

Good news is we have only two games to go.

Bad news is we have two games to go.

On the bright side ,I sold 320 imitation GWS kids jumpers today for $20 a pop.

Hang your heads boys, worst game I've ever seen in my life

I attended both 186 and 147 in 2011 and 2013. But third to those performances, this was bloody hopeless. Absolutely no pride.

THE ACCIDENTAL DEMONS by The Oracle

In the space of eight days, the Melbourne Football Club’s plans for the coming year were turned upside down by two season-ending injuries to players who were contending strongly for places in its opening round match against the GWS Giants. Shane McAdam was first player to go down with injury when he ruptured an Achilles tendon at Friday afternoon training, a week before the cut-off date for the AFL’s pre-season supplemental selection period (“SSP”). McAdam was beginning to get some real mom

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the
