Do you want to elaborate? Agree JKH couldn't make an impact, but it wasn't from the lack of trying

Unfortunately, yes it was.

He looked like he didn't care a lot on the weekend. Disinterestedness was plastered across his face unless he was able to get out in space and present. There's more to AFL than that, especially when you're playing against the best of the best.

I'm not advocating dropping him as I think (hope?) it was an aberration and that, usually, he makes us a better side.

Grimes as a Co - Captain will come straight back in if fit to play so there will be one change at least.

Our turnovers just went up by 25%

I really think Grimes needs to earn his spot back, before he was injured he was playing terrible footy.

I really would love to see Watts get dropped, so sick of his lack of desire for the ball, it's getting worse. But sadly this will not happen.

And people are saying M.Jones is tired, didn't he just get back into the team? So he should have a cup of warm milk and a lay down for a weekend? WTF?

Leave the team as is, have JKH as the sub.

In further positive news for the Demons, young midfielder Jimmy Toumpas is also expected to return for the Scorpions this weekend.

Hoges and Toump both back

Hope they play well and come into the MFC team for the final 2 games

I reckon JKH might possibly be showing the effects of long hard season on a kid playing against men for the first time. Nothing more!!

Apparantly according to the radio, BOTH Melbourne and GWS are desperate to lose this game, to get Petracca. They're obviously speculating but it's interesting that people still perceive us this way.

hope we smash them by 100+

Whose "the radio"?

The Saints have last spot all but sewn up. It's very difficult to see them winning any of their three remaining games.

Both sides will be out to win. People who say anything different are simply pot stirring.

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,

    GALLANT by KC from Casey

The world “gallant” is not one that is readily acceptable to losing teams in our game of football so when it was used in the context of the Casey Demons’ loss to Sandringham in yesterday’s match at Casey Fields, it left a bitter taste in the mouth.  The Demons went into the game against the St Kilda affiliated Zebras with the advantage of playing on their home turf (not that this has been a major asset in 2024) and with very little else going in their favour. The Saints have close to a full

    MEANWHILE by Whispering Jack

… meanwhile, at about the same time that Narrm was putting its feet on the accelerator to obliterate the long-suffering Euro-Yroke combination, I heard someone mention in passing that Kuwarna was leading Waalitj Marawar by a whopping 46 to 1 halfway through the second quarter of their game over in Adelaide. “What is football coming to?” I asked myself.  In front of my eyes, the Demons were smashing it through the midfield, forcing turnovers and getting the footy to their forwards who w
