We really should've had two more goals and as usual give up some easy ones to the opposition. Usual crappy umpiring isn't helping though.

oh dear the poor skinny fella got winded

Umpiring is disgusting, the AFL needs to have a serious look at it because the game is borderine unwatchable at times.

Cant bump, cant take a bump, cant run, cant mark, cant kick.

All he can do is look lethargic and sit on the bench.

Have a listen to you blokes. Watts can't win. Puts his head over the ball, rather than squibbing the contest, and he still cops crap. Stay classy guys.

That was the lamest, half hearted bump I've seen, and his lack of commitment to it, cost us a goal.

I'm sick of making excuses for him.

I saw it differently.

I'm not making excuses for the player he often is but he didn't squib the contest.

Then the Riley decision tops it off.

No it wasn't, it was an effort from a player who has no idea in a contested situation. He needed to clean Grey up, not the other way around.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
