  1. Balic was there today for the person that asked, seemed to be doing it a little tough with all the running but kept going. Was only there for the second half of training but was interestingly to see the varying fitness levels of the players, some as mentioned like Nibbler were just smashing it but then many others plodding along toward the end of the session and really doing it tough like Petracca and Oliver, and Oscar Mac just kinda cruising a little at the rear. But yes, context required, it is November I know Tommy Mac and I think Josh Smith were doing lots of running and looking pretty good, Tommy post the ankle issues seemed to be travelling well. As for Max well yes he sure was looking sharp and very trim, my only isssue with this is that yes it will certainly enable him to get to many many contests in a game but he seemed to be pushed off the ball in the contest quite easily at times last year as he doesn’t really have the bulk and perhaps strength of some of the other bigger ruckman, just my thoughts though. Anyway, a lovely morning to be outside and having a look at our boys.
  2. Viney was out there and training although not sure he did the full session, happy to be corrected though. Ben Ken was also out there which was good to see. I'm also curious about Frost, looks in ripping shape but only running up and down the wing and didn't see him do any ball work once again. Any insights? I feel Watts was Watts, skilful, laconic, the usual.
  3. From what I saw at training this morning he was in rehab group and really only boxing but I did miss first half hour so maybe he was more active then?
  4. Oops, didn't mean to contradict Wayne, perhaps they've loosened up ?
  5. Dom and Kent training as a duo away from the main group, both seem to be moving pretty well.
  6. Thanks BJ, pity, and since its on Seven not a huge incentive.
  7. Is there a cost to get in, thinking to pop down before the main clash? I'm a member but realise this would be a Casey away game.
  8. Can't say l really agree with this tho I think l know what you are trying to say. It really really does matter what you eat, I used to be someone who thought calories consumed vs calories burnt was all there was to it, but like many things in life it's not that simple. If interested the link below is interesting and not too technical http://www.huffingtonpost.com/dr-mark-hyman/calories_b_5126008.html
  9. Interesting thread guys. I'm a Paleo/HFLC fan over the past three years or so and only have good things to report. I've met the Demon Dr Zee and he's very interested (and follower) of this lifestyle. I was impressed and a tad surprised that he and obviously the dieticians at the club have taken on this approach. For me it's just about eating real food, lots of veg, a little fruit, moderate amounts of meat and plenty of good fats from sources such as eggs, nuts, avocados and healthy oils like olive/coconut and macadamia. Perhaps it just works for me (increase muscle/strength, decrease fat) as I'm a pretty active guy (not mouse) but I think it's helped many other who are less active.
  10. Gary went into contest demanding the ball, Watts kinda wanted it. End result was there to see
  11. Wow, that interview on Fox Footy was certainly the most positive in regards to Roos actually coming to the Dee's, he said he was nearly 50/50 and is seriously considering all offers. That's big!

    GAME DAY

Personally I still don't think Toumpas has grasped the pace of the game, but its early...

    GAME DAY

Good effort so far, whilst this should be expected it's still heartening to see. Can we maintain it...
  14. I'm planning a trip up to the top end with it ending up in Darwin for the clash against the Lions. Never been to NT so thought this an excellent excuse, anyone else going? Any idea on ticket rights as a Melbourne Reserved Seat Member? Be great to catch up with some other fans, am 35, love the footy, plus a beer!
  15. Geez, that one hurt! 12 point turn-around
