Grimes very poor, Garland Ditto, Jordy gee, three year deal for a bloke with very limited skills (Previous Brains trust/ admin take a bow!) Frawley cannot kick!! Full stop. At this stage I couldn't care less if Frawley goes or stays!!

Garland was great in 2013 but in the years before that was pretty bog-ordinary. The Garland of 2014 has played like the old model. Will forgive him due to lack of preparation but let's hope he wasn't just a one-season wonder.

Vince and Cross were clearly the best two Demons out there today (Vince probably BOG). Both ring-ins from other clubs. Shows the importance of bringing more in at the end of the year, as great as Tyson and Viney have been, we saw today what can happen when your kids start to tire.

A game played between two sides at VERY different stages of their development.

One side that's been a tight unit, practicing a disciplined, attacking game plan that will stand up in finals for the last 3 - 4 years.

Another that's still learning how to defend, how/when to attack, who will play what roles, rebuilding from the ground up.

We need to remember 2 key things:

1. North pummelled largely the same playing group less than 12 months ago.
2. When 'on' the Roos have been able to get hold of some VERY capable sides this year, including the Swans, by a similar margin, at the SCG.

Let's chalk this up to a learning experience and turn our attention to a very winnable game next week.

Jetta had an AA month, but Nahas had 4 scoring shots in the first 20 minutes of the game. He played 2 steps off him, something he hadn't done all year and it showed.

His impressive tackling came from being led to the ball.

Hopefully a better game next week.

Nev played two steps off him because Nahas can turn on a sixpence, the early goals happened because the ball came unhindered from the middle and Norths had their forward structure working perfectly, once we sorted that out the service stopped, until the 3rd qtr, when it fell to bits again as fatigue set in and then we fixed it up in the 4th again

Nahas is getting games with North, makes a good foil for the talls and Thomas that's why the structure worked once North got the ball on the outside, we did fix it up eventually, you did watch the game?

Against both Port and Adelaide we controlled the footy coming in, lot easier for defenders to control their men

It's when he has ball in hand that he's a problem. He can turn on as many sixpences as he likes if he doesn't have the ball.

Obvously watching different games, so you prefer holding free kicks, you can't put body on if he has acres of space to run into, I have spoken to most of the defence what they have actually enjoyed this year has been the pressure down the ground and the midfield and forwards getting back to plug holes, giving them to opportunity to work as a team, this is exactly what went wrong yesterday, listen to what Roos, Vince and Watts said, we had 22 individuals. For Nahas first goal he came from the other side of the 50 unhindered

Jetta has been great in recent weeks but your blind love for him is staggering. He didn't respect Nahas as he should have and was soundly beaten by him (when on the ground).

It wasn't a horrible game from Nev, he just dropped a notch. I'd expect him back to his best next week.

Sorry - I am with Saty on this - and had sympathy for all the backs last night who were beaten on the lead. What let us down yesterday was the ease that the ball came into their forward line. I don't care if it is Nahas or Peter Daicos - when the ball comes into the forward line so easily with no -one filling the hole - you are going to get cleaned up on the lead providing the kick comes in cleanly which it did.

I think one of the defenders mentioned in an interview previously said that the defense had been helped by the pressure the mids put on the balling coming into their defensive zone - that didnt happen for periods yesterday.
