People still think he is never going to return?

As much as I get frustrated with those naysayers. This picture is fresh pudding.

I would like to eat the pudding for a couple of years.

I...I really butchered that idiom...

From the picture it looks as if they had to amputate his left leg. Still, maybe better off without it, but will have to learn a new kicking style. :-))

And with those 12 simple words, this site just moved from a PG to an MA15+ rating.

Good to see Mitch up and running again.
As for pre-season, I will wait and see if this leads to improved performance in the new year. I remember hearing reports of Dunn and Jetta running the tan this time last year and people on this site collectively swooning as though this meant that the boys were behind Neeld.:rolleyes:

I don't remember that. I remember people saying this is exactly what they should have been doing.

I would rather play a Mitch Clark with no legs than a Pedersen with two.

I remember one game this year, Pederson missed a goal from like 10 meters out. I think it was even a set shot. I tweeted "I'm pretty sure I could have kicked that one, and i'm a Yank." Someone told me to test it out. So the next morning I went out to a park, got a football, set markers apart, the width of the goal, counted off 10 meters and had a crack. I'm proud to report I would have kicked a goal on my first attempt. My second attempt looked like something from a footy horror show. Came squarely off the side of my foot and nearly took out a squirrel who was camped out under a tree to the right of me.

Must be weird for Mitch being the one without the camera.

Hope he focuses on his development though. Needs more exposure to AFL football.

Jon Dorotich?

That is good mate. One thing I should point out though. We don't have squirrels in aust as for as I know. I reckon you nearly took out a possum with your second kick at goal. Don't worry I have wanted to take those little buggers out many a time when they jump, hiss and mate on my roof in the middle of the night!!

Oh no. Dear god no. Were not talking about the preseason....all I remember last year is comments from Neeld saying how well our preseason is going, how well it went during our heavy losses. I hate preseason and wish I could avoid all the discussions on it. There are 17 other teams who will have a great preseason. Personally, I couldn't give a s***

POSTGAME: Rd 10 vs West Coast

Many warned that this was a danger game and the Demons were totally outclassed all game by a young Eagles team at Optus Stadium in Perth as they were defeated by 35 points.

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k

OVER YET? by KC from Casey

The Friday evening rush hour clash of two of the VFL’s 2024 minnows, Carlton and the Casey Demons was excruciatingly painful to watch, even if it was for the most part a close encounter. I suppose that since the game had to produce a result (a tie would have done the game some justice), the four points that went to Casey with the win, were fully justified because they went to the best team. In that respect, my opinion is based on the fact that the Blues were a lopsided combination that had

    CENTIMETRES by Whispering Jack

Our game is one where the result is often decided by centimetres; the touch of a fingernail, a split-second decision made by a player or official, the angle of vision or the random movement of an oblong ball in flight or in its bounce and trajectory. There is one habit that Melbourne seems to have developed of late in its games against Carlton which is that the Demons keep finding themselves on the wrong end of the stick in terms of the fine line in close games at times when centimetres mak
