Please noooooooooooo.

If Daisy is worth 700k, Kieren Jack must be around 900k.

AD I think you are either over valuing Daisy or under valuing Jack.

On the Bulldogs and GWS front, I've heard straight swap of Patton for Pick 4.

It's just a rumour at this point from a mate ( not sure how reliable).

Can't give any results on the interviews but we spoke to Mitch Robinson last week and Shane savage this week. Both are unhappy at their current clubs and want to move. Personally I would be happy with them at the dees just as starters. Obviously not giving up too much but we have 2 second rounders (most likely) and a third. I'd like to get one for a fourth or swap of players.

Mitch, grunt once for "no" and twice for "yes".

Jed Lamb is still out of contract at the Swans and may be one of those sacrificed to make cap space for Franklin. Hopefully GWS commit to taking Mumford with PSD Pick 1 and we claim Lamb with Pick 2.

Turns 21 in October. 181cm. 84kg. Made his debut this year and played 12 games and kicked 9 goals. Pick 21 in the 2010 draft. Plays the high half forward role Sylvia is most suited to.

If Patton was up for grabs there'd be a stampede and Pick 4 would not get it done. What would the Pies give up for Patton for instance?

I think Mitch Robinson could be a good fit for us. He's very tough, but the thing I like most about him is he's a very tall midfielder. All our guys are short, stocky types. The inclusion of Robinson would give us a little more diversity.

Mate I had laugh to myself when I read what Carlton is offering Daisy. I know it's all speculative but makes one shake the head.

XXX's fingers!

lets hope the blues have spent the bulk of they're salary cap. and others aren't on the chase.

the footy journo (one of the unremarkable interchangable types who pop up on SEN - Update: Julian De Stoop) on SEN after 7 with BP said there is speculation Dayne Beams is unsettled at Collingwood. Conceivable given his fellow brat packers in Thomas and Shaw are being marched out the door in the name of cultural change.

Worth noting that Anna Krien's book Night Games does not exactly paint Beams in a positive light as a man or a friend.

He'd certainly lower the group IQ.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
