Good to see he ls still making terrible decision even when not employed by the MFC

Can't see any upside here.

Needs to sleep on it before backing up so soon................surely will deliver a few whacks.

Neeld and Lyon, talk about footy.

Cant wait for this one.

its all Moloney's fault, I bet.

Posted

I swear if I have to hear him say that he "wouldn't change anything" again.. I'm going to throw the remote at him..

Posted

I will be keeping my fingers crossed the whole time. If I hear the words 'blind freddy" I am going to scream!

It finally feels like we have rid ourselves of a great cancer - lets not let it come back! (no dramas thanks Neeld just say how great a club we are etc. - no tanking comments or any other such activity)

We have hit rock bottom - only upwards from here

If I were him I'd rather get this kind of thing out of the way and move on.

Preferable to doing media stuff weeks later and have to keep being reminded of the whole saga.

This will be compulsory viewing.

Even if he has a whack, there's already a broom removing anyone associated with his time at the club so there'll be little consequence.

Unlike the subtle T bomb Bailey dropped.

Posted

If he performs with dignity it will only help his immediate and future employment prospects.

Don't think so? He could whack our players leaving them even more exposed to the circling media. He could whack our facilities and cast us as a complete mess and damage our chances of getting some positivity heading into next year.

That's true. Although to be honest I think he'll be fine. Ratten, Daniher, Knights, Bailey, Primus practically everyone who has been a senior coach has found a new gig and been recognised for the talent that saw them get the senior berth initially.

I would think this footy classified interview would've been pre-booked and he is sticking to a commitment before he goes sailing off with his 600k and then comes back next season as an assistant coach or in the media. In a way the timing so early in the season will help him. He's got time to have a good holiday for a couple of months before looking for a job next year.

Yawn fest.

If he has any dignity he will keep it straight and avoid the cheap whack for the reasons given.

And he is hardly going to hard done by when the senior panellist Gary Lyon appointed him.

Unfortunately the T bomb was a Board/ Schwab fiasco and they have/are taking their medicine.

Whack our players? Would galvanize them if anything, and make him look bad, he was coaching them.

Our facilities? News update: we are no longer at the Junction Oval.

A complete mess? What a revelation that would be. Hence the clean out.

It is what it is......yep thats it

Who cares do not like the show and in particular the host GL

Funny how GL is keen to TALK now. Geez he a little plick.

Posted

Smart move by Gary - he won't get criticised as harshly by his fellow panellists with Neeld in the room about to join them on air

Posted

Maybe he's auditioning for a regular spot on there... Replace Lloydy?

Posted

I've no doubt he will as always be understated and diplomatic and will refuse to point fingers.

I would be thrilled if he cut loose and let the board have it with both barrels.

Posted

I would prefer it if Schwab was on there...."Your last extension Cameron...Please explain the absolute waste of members $$$$..."

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the

We'll break down the Match SIM against North Melbourne and wrap up the preseason with insights into training and our latest recruits. I apologize for skipping our annual season review show at the end of last season. After a disapponting season filled with off-field antics and a heated trade week, I needed a break. Thankfully, the offseason has recharged me, and I’m back—ready t
