Who's under consideration at Casey: Magner, Blease, Taggert, Gawn, Toumpas, Spencer, Sellar, Jetta, Nicholson
Who could be back from injury: Tom McDonald, ?Byrnes

Who's under the pump to keep their spot: Matt Jones, Trengove, Rodan, Fitzpatrick, Evans (?needs a rest), Dunn, Pedersen, Strauss, Tapscott

Regardless of whether we get a new coach nothing will really help in the way of changes, last week to this week showed that.

I think the backline today all things considered did ok. Pedersen whilst not setting the world on fire deserves another shot. He took a couple of marks and had a dip. He's a nice match up for big Lynch and hopefully can't play him into form. Dunn isn't finding the footy and Strauss and Terlich both disappointed defensively today but were good with the ball. We persist.

For the forward line I'm tempted to stick with Fitzpatrick to give him a decent shot. If he just had any kind of poise today he would've marked a couple and contributed instead of being a negative. Gawn has more upside in the ruck obviously but Fitzpatrick's speed and mobility is worth another week. Joel Macdonald did a good job. Tapscott has some credits in the bank, same with Davey. Kent was good today and Watts was Watts. 1 good effort with skill, 1 standing around a contest wasting space etc. Bail is just a waste of time at the moment, turn over machine.

Midfield wise we just battled. But it's time to stop the Rodan merrigo round. He actually tried the second half and racked up some ball and 11 tackles. We persist with McKenzie. We persist with Trengove. Magner never should've been dropped and therefore he comes in for Bail. Evans has looked flat the last two weeks but again we persist as there aren't any options. Matt Jones was getting trounced today. We need him to be in the side and playing well so from that point of view I'm inclined to keep him and give him a shot as the sub to see if he can be a good impact player to get back in form.

'Watts was Watts' - the reality of this comment is quite saddening. Needs a spell at Casey, but won't get dropped.

Bail is struggling. Blease time?

IN : Tom Mac,Blease,Gawn,Jetta .

Out:Jamar,Tapscott ,Bail,Joel Mac.

We need 2nd and 3rd efforts, ground level skills, kicking skills and pace.

Jamar is a liability now. Has been for a year.Too slow at everything.

Tappy is battling for form-needs a kick in the magoos

Bail isn't big or strong enough and of those running types he is the worst kick.

Joel Mac was ok today but is never going to make it in finals, same reason I'll leave out Magner and any other battlers-they can't kick.

McKenzie stays on sheer defensive effort alone.

McKenzie is OK when he plays within his limitations. The set-up handball to Davey for a goal was perfect. He just needs to avoid kicking.

You can't put Gawn in against Jolly. He'll be smashed.

Not so sure of this, watched big Max take Hudson apart at a Casey game before his last knee so he can do it against experience. He will definitely give us more around the ground but his downside maybe the tank to go all day.

Rodan's best game today, Fitzy showed better signs than last time, Jamar was good, as usual, at getting first touch, Kent showed good signs, M Jones needs a rest, Bail should be replaced, Strauss should be replaced, MacDonald did well in first half,

OUTS Strauss, Bail, M Jones

INS Sylvia, Magner, Taggert

We must bring in Blease and leave him for the remainder of the year. Give a solid chance to perform and keep improving. We have too many players that can't kick and Bail is at the top of the list. Evans & Kent would be still, but Sylvia and Magner will both get more than 15 possessions.

I think we could bring Magner in for Matt Jones.

Nothing wrong with Jones, just that he looks like he needs a rest - looked buggered today, freshen him up.
Reward Magner with a game, bring in some fresh mids.

Bring in Blease, we need some leg speed, not that we struggle entirely with that - just that Blease will add some dash.

Kent performed better at AFL level than VFL, it's not silly to think Blease won't do the same.

Give the kid a chance, show some faith in Blease, who shown some faith in the club when he would've had decent offers to play elsewhere at the end of 2012.

Bail..Enough said.

M.Jones deserves a rest.

Taggert deserves a run in the seniors

Give Sylvia a run in Casey and bring him back refreshed after the bye.

Why, oh why did we ever drop Magner?

HEAVEN OR HELL by The Oracle

Clashes between Melbourne and St Kilda are often described as battles between the forces of heaven and hell. However, based on recent performances, it’s hard to get excited about the forthcoming match between these two sides. It would be fair to say that, at the moment, both of these teams are in the doldrums. The Demons have become the competition’s slow starters while the Saints are not only slow to begin, they’re not doing much of a job finishing off their games either. About the only th

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k
