well duh...we know there is a big difference between US and the rest.
Thats why we got Mission and are playing catch up.
We'll catch up eventually, just depends on how far back we truly were in terms of training, professionalism, pre-season work and general fitness. My guess is a long way off.
Will start to see us finally be up to speedish after this coming pre-season i predict.

It's a very fair article actually. He raises the same points our coaches have, that we weren't working as hard as the good clubs and that we needed elite leaders around the club to set the standard at training and on the field. These are both things that Neeld addressed and has attempted to rectify. The level of training has been increased to almost AFL standard and he has tried to import players from successful clubs to give us some leadership and experience. This hasn't been working as well as we might have wished on game day, but id has apparently helped on the training track.

Much better article in terms of that he still thinks highly of the club and wants us to have success. Look we failed at pick 4 with this one but he is right in regarding leadres who set the standard.. Giving away blokes like Mcdonald, Miller and bruce who set the standard at training was a mistake and now we are in a position now because of those stupid decisions.

I read it as saying that when he joined the club and his years there they got off scott free.... no hardworking culture re fitness,,, & I'll add, 'no head over the footy', as my bit to this.

.... Also, the head over the footy has been missing since around the turn of this century. Only one handful of our players in the early 2000's put the head over the ball.

& it got worse from then on...
