Must get a minimum 4 weeks for daring to execute a fair bump.

You talking about the umpire there pal? Killer bump, but shocking decision.

In the words of the immortal Stephen Quartermaine, "That was a shocking decision. That umpire should never officiate another game."

The umpires shouldn't have the authority to make the reports anymore everything gets looked at now they don't need to they just end up looking foolish

Joke of a report, he bumped the Carlscum players shoulder FFS. Will be instantly thrown out

You should've added a winking icon

Also, it really killed Tapscott's attack on the ball. He was best on ground for us until that point and faded badly. A real shame, he was smashing it (pardon the pun).

and the holding the ball rule seems to be almost extinguished unless you get trapped under 15 players sitting on you

how doe the afl get away with changing the interpretation of the rules just for the sake of moving the ball at all costs and reducing ball ups

Nothing in it.

The issue will be thrown out at the MRP.

I am more interested in the Waite liverpool kiss on TMac.

Waite has a bad record and he did move to headbutt him. Should IMO.

You're sounding very bitter and negative DC ( a burwood thing ?). Perhaps you should join myself, OD and Bangkok Demon in Thailand. Also I think wyl visits about that time.

When was that? I didn't see it at the ground. I will look for it on the tape.

Jack Grimes shoulder breaking tackle should get 6 weeks - if they are consistent.

An unlucky accident but they should've taken more care not to injure him.

Great bump from Tapscott and he put Simpson on his back again in the next contest. Love him!

Anyone know what Walker did to him to give away that free and goal early on?

I agree - should definitely be looked at.

Just gave him a little whack on the chin. A bit of a jumper punch; nothing more.

The umpire should be embarrassed - just wanting to assert authority when he clearly couldn't have seen head high contact. Report will be thrown out .... no case to answer.

Ah okay, I was loving Tappy's little pat of encouragement on Walkers chest after he kicked the goal.

Perhaps the umpire (or his employers) might consider an apology. Nah - would never happen.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
